I'm a pre-op transsexual, but my license says female. I've been living as a female for almost 11 years. I went fulltime when i was 14 and when i was 16 went for my permit and they put female on it. I was born in indiana and they don't have sex on the birth certificate. So i've been with my boyfriend for 2 years. He wants to go to vegas and get married. Technically i could because all vegas needs is a valid ID . and mine says female. I love my boyfriend more than you could know and i want to marry him. but my question is should i risk it ? legally it is fraud .i might be fine. it's not like they are going to look under my dress. but fraud is a federal offence i could go to prison. But david's the one for me and i want to get married , what should i do ?

I am unclear on the gay marriage debate.

Is it that gays want to be married in/recognised by the church? Do they just want the same rights conferred by government upon straight marriages? Is it just the word marriage?

I am all in favor of letting gay people get married and have the same rights as straights and let them call it marriage if they like, but why can't religious organisations decide for themselves?

What is it you fabulous guys want?

So, how do I tell my mom that her son is genderqueer (Gender Fluid, to be more specific) and prefers to wear a skirt?

I'm a mix of masculine and feminine. I was born male, and plan to keep my male parts.
The skirts I refer to are ankle length, I don't feel the need to show off. Not anything that SCREAMS girly. Comfortable and subtle is what I'm going for.

Could it be that thry doubt their own sexuality and feel that by insulting people here makes them more hetero? If they don't like us why do they come and answer our questions with insults and profanity?

My question is a serious one. And please do not take it the wrong way. I know similiar questions have been asked but I don't think in this way.

Would you like to live on an Island that only GBLT people can live on?

Or visit an Island that only catters to GBLT people as a vacation spot?

I know I would. I would rather live somewhere else sometimes when Im just too depressed and upset here. Someplace where I can have respect and don't have to worry would be nice sometimes. The downside of it would be thats it's to far from family and friends. I think either way I would be homesick, but the Island would be a safer place. And maybe a place where we can all find true love. At least for me anyway.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and answer.

I watched a program on tonight in which a man and woman had a child. He then wants to become a woman. He's taking hormones, now has breasts and dresses like a woman. He wants to have the surgery some day to become a full woman. His wife wants to stay in the marriage and they both claim to still love each other. But the wife says she's not a lesbian. And the husband still wants to be with her. Shouldn't he want to be with men now that he's becoming a woman? And shouldn't his wife want to find a man because she's not attracted to women? The whole situation seems odd, can someone explain?

I am still in love with the girl who broke my heart, I still dream of a future with her even though she disappeared in April 06 and I haven't seen her since. I can't accept that she's gone...I still see her around even though she doesn't notice I'm there. I still love her and want to be with her, I don't want anyone else...what am I supposed to do? I can't get over this. I don't know if I can ever be with someone else. Is she really gone? I still think that maybe she's just scared, she really did love me back and is just unsure...or anything. Anything except the idea that she didn't love me back and could not even stay friends.

When asked, "what would be worse: being in unrequited love or being in mutual love that could never be expressed?"someone on Yahoo Answers replied, "The latter, because at least in the first situation one of the people could be happy."

What a sick thing to say! To suggest that someone could be happy knowing they broke someone's heart...and clearly that person had never had their heart horribly broken like mine and been so depressed and unhappy... How could someone say such a thing?!

Can anyone recommend a good (and informative) movie/documentary about bisexuality that I can show clips from for a sociology presentation?

I need a movie that is specifically about bisexuals, and NOT about homosexuals, transsexuals, or transvestites. Other groups are doing presentations on those topics.
