I think men are often insecure about their masculinity, this is why they often do things to "prove themselves to be a man". Women rarely feel a need to "prove themselves to be a woman". And worrying over the size of their member is just part of this masculie insecurity.

I can't speak for women -- from what I've heard a lot of straight women are hung up on size -- I don't know personally, I have no interest there. A few gay men are size queens (want big ones) but there are an equal or greater number who love small ones -- so it balances out. I have to believe that there are also women who want smallones, but I don't know that, its a guess.

I personally like all sizes, and I love small ones just as much as big ones -- maybe more cause I can give more pleasure to one.

That said -- what is big/average/small? Well, most men on the net lie and add to their size, this is well understood -- because absolute average is about 5.5 inches, and very few men online admit to that. The stretch between 5 and 6.5 is considered average, but there are more penises at about 5.5 inches than any other size. Beyond that from 6.5 to 7.5 is big, from 7.5 up is huge and there aren't many. I've seen 6 real ones in my life that size (though by no stretch have I had them all -- we are talking seen here.) from 5 down to 4 is considered below average, from 3.0 to 4.0 is considered small, and below 3 on an adult is considered micropenis (which is a medical condition). I've seen ALOT more 3 to 5 inch ones that 7 to 10 inch ones, across all races.

In all cases we are talking erect here.

In any event, if you have fun with your penis, the size doesn't matter -- though I admit, you've now made me curious. *grin*

have fun.

Kind thoughts,

If you've had sex with men with a variety of sizes then you'd know the answer to that question. YES size does matter...to an extent. A 3 inch penis is useless....might as well use your tongue. But as long as he is average then sex is fine. But I think men use their penis size for bragging rights. "Mine is 7 inches" is like saying "I drive a Lexus" to them.

I have always been told by women size matters. People that are all into themselves are usually lying, and don't know how to work it. Ego, the quiet ones know how to move it

it only matters from a purely sexual/physical standpoint. sexual pleasure, at least for women, is all about clitoral stimulation. an extremely small penis won't likely be able to do it..

but the bottom line, there are other ways to stimulate your woman.. and in my opinion, women who specifically go out of their way to judge men based on penis size, well, they are shallow. no other way to put it!

a mans size doesn't really matter, if you know how to use it. of course some people will say that size does matter and then some say if your too small... then others if your too big..... so if you know how to use it it doesn't really matter, or shouldn't

No I think most men are just afraid that they don't measure up.
