In all honesty, that's what opinions are about. It doesn't matter how you feel about what that person said, in the grand scheme of things. Try considering this - that person may have not known the meaning of the word 'unrequited'. That's most likely the case. But anyway, back to my original lesson, in opinions, it's all about what YOU think, what YOU feel, NOT the other person. So basically, unless it's fact, it's fiction. Because it's fiction, it doesn't matter.

Believe it or not, I don't think said person was trying offend you. They were asked their opinion, and so it was given. That you found it sick and cruel has nothing to do with why the answer was given. I think you need to take a deep breath, and actually reason out why said person answered as they did, and you'll find that you were just oversensitive.
I am sorry you're hurting right now, and life will go on as it always does, and it'll seem like it's just in spite of you that it does so. You can't let relationships get you down, because there will always be somebody else who'll fit your standards; that's why the world comes in as many varieties as it does.
I wish you the best.

Because you through out a double question asking for someone elses view. You are struggling right now with a broken heart and that is going to make you react to answers you don't like. Take time to ment your heart and work on inner happiness and soon someone will see you for the person inside and this experience will only make you stronger. Best of luck.

Someone told me once about a relationship: it's either you or him being happy; so it's better be you. Do you know why people said such thing? It's because they don't care. It's every man for himself. Somehow society has taught some people to be more selfish - it's always "me" and what's in it for me. That's why you need God in the center of any relationship because God is Love.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

You're being really dramatic over nothing... honestly. So you would choose to be in unrequited love? I'm sure someone feels just as stongly as you do about the first choice. Does it really truly matter?

Maybe they have a miserable relationship so they say that. Once they dump someone they were happy having the control. His problem. Don't take it personal.

The Almighty gave us a great gift of love marriage and sex. If you take it apart, you destroy it.

The point of this forum is to exchange information and OPINIONS if you do not want these then I would suggest that you not ask. Not everyone is going to say what you want to hear as it would be.

It's logic, cool cold logic. Completely detached of emotional influence. Taking out how you feel that is actually the most logical answer.
