It's hard to answer this question, because I have no basis for comparison. Someone who has undergone a sex change operation could give you better insight.

In my experience, though, being a girl is nothing special. I don't really think about it. I don't think about my clothes, either, except when I have to purchase them. It is very hard to find pants that fit just right because hip-to-waist ratios vary so widely between women. Also, most women's shoes are very uncomfortable. I usually buy men's shoes (if I can find them in a small enough size) because they're considerably more comfortable.

I do feel that many people don't take me as seriously when I start talking about traditionally "male" subjects, like computers. This is very aggravating, especially when I am by far the best qualified for a certain role within a group, but it goes to a guy anyway--and then he ends up coming to me for help because he doesn't know how to do the work as well as I do.

Also, there is the whole menstrual cycle thing. This is by far the worst thing about being a girl. Fortunately, this is not something you would ever have to experience, so I won't delve into it.

In some aspects I hate being a girl. I always worry what other men/women think of me. It takes me 2 hours to get ready every morning because I'm so insecure. In addition, to keep my figure, I've been living on a half a grapfruit and a tbs. of peanut butter a day. I find it overwhelming. Yet, though I do wonder from time to time what it's like to be guy, Im would never trade my femininity.
I love being a women, but I hate living up to the standards that people set.
Also, I'd much rather be a bi-sexual man, than a bi-sexual women anyday. They don't get asked a thousand tims a day to "bang that girl" while some dude watches. Lol.

It's a good feeling though, when you wear your best Givenchy pumps and a red silk blouse that shows off you're breasts. knowing damn well that you're sexy, radiating confidence and being envied by women and lusted after by other girls/guys. (Even though it takes a few hours to get ready and a noticible deprivation in your master card.)
Men, don't have that privelege, they throw on a tee shirt, spray on some axe, and, given they don;t have to work so hard to acieve physical attatinment, they don't get that feeling, either.
So yeah, it's hard, but It's worth it.

If you've always felt like a women on the inside, then why not make the transition to match who you are mentally to who you are physically?
If. however, you're just curious, I'd make sure you want to give up you're masculnity, because it's a process you can't parden with after it's done.
Why don't you try going out like a women, living like a women even, before you decide to change you're sex.

If you want someone to talk to, feel free eo eMail me, anytime.

You have gender nonconformity. This can range from children learning characteristics that seem to be of the opposite gender, and then science says that gender nonconformity may be hormonal imballances that predisposes some children to have gender nonconformity, and often these children want to become the opposite gender. It is in debate if it is all learned or not.

I was a child that had undiagnoised gender nonconformity as well, also untreated. I wanted to be a boy, but born a girl.
I did not get a sex change, and the wanting to be a boy has lessened in me over the years. yet, I think and act much like a guy.

Though gender nonconformity is not the same as homosexuality. Many children that have gender nonconformity will construct hetrosexuality, while others may construct homosexuality. Often the case when a person with a gender nonconformity to the degree they want a sex change, or want to be the opposite gender is more of a predisposition to cause them to construct homosexuality. They are often teased, often tempted to experiment more.

I find those children that appear to just learn a few characteristics that seem to belong to the opposite gender, seem to grow out of their gender nonconformity are less likley to construct homosexuality. Yet some do.
