How can a man look at another man and think "Sexy", and then look at a woman the next day and say "Sexy"? Isn't it like if you're straight---you don't just suddenly go gay? Isn't it a long, difficult decision?????
What is the world COMING to?!?!?!?

Not against gays, I'm just tired of hearing about celebrities and married people suddenly deciding that they're going for the opposite or same sex after being straight/gay their entire lives!!!!

I know what you mean. Years ago it wasn't accepted, so there are many middle-aged people who only now feel able to admit that they are gay.
Some people see bi-sexuality as being "cool" and there can be a fad element to it.
Some people will sleep with anything(!)
Others develop a close friendship with members of the same sex and that develops into something else.

The actual event you're describing rarely happens -- almost nobody "one day" just decides they are attracted to another sex.

In reality, social pressures keep many people who already have homosexual feelings "in the closet" for a very long time. Even in supposedly "liberal" hollywood, openly admitting being gay limits your career -- in the rest of America, even more so. Openly gay men rarely get "leading man" type roles, where they play a character whose love interest is a woman, instead they get only gay roles -- and there are a lot less of those than straight roles, so being gay limits your career.
Other than movie stars, "real" people will go to great lengths to hide their true feelings and sexual orientation, even to the point of getting married and having children (though they have no sexual desire to do so) -- because they fear the condemnation of their family, their community, their co-workers...with all the bigotry surrounding private sexual desires, it's HARD to admit to being a homosexual.
In some percentage of people who have been hiding their true feelings for years, the pressure of who they really are versus the face they show to the world finally becomes too much, and they can't take the hypocrisy and lies any more...so they either "come out," or run away and start a new life somewhere else, or even commit suicide. All because bigoted ignorant people hate other people simply because of what they want to do with their sex organs. How dumb is that...

This isn't what the world is coming to, it's what the bigoted in our society are making it into. The way you say it makes it sound like it's all happening far away and is somebody else's fault -- that's not the case at all. It's happening right in your town, right now, and you're part of it. How you treat others -- no matter who they are or what they want to do in their bedroom -- will help determine what "the world" comes to.

Patrick, the question isn't a lot to do with sorting out your sexuality, its to do such as your kinfolk. you say you're a 'loner' & thats maximum likely why you've engaged with men & women human beings on a sexual aspect as you your self say that you basically like the 'affection'. quite than going to bars & places to hit upon a better half no matter if thats a guy or a woman, try making foundations with human beings as friends. pass to Social events to completely community & make a sturdy crew of friends round you. After a lengthy time period you are able to do not forget that you're in a particular position the position you are able to liaise & interact with both sex & so the answer will come to you. do not try too troublesome to comply with 'rules' & 'society'. it is your existence, stay it & leave YOUR legacy in the back of. this isn't a dress practice consultation. You look a blinding guy & the international's waiting. pass get em!

For Love nothing is strange, and instant love is a totallity in its own. I'm a cheermonger.... Pretpaal op een station, daar staan tevreden rokertjes,,,, Sorry guys, only available in Netherlands...Quanty quanty... i'once stood topless in the middel of a circular fountain being fotographed for a friend who wanted to learn to take action and art.... One friday afternoon... Minke and I were the only girls that could turn Jools on. Don't judge true love, perhaps that's what it is.To what degree? There may not be a judging in a fysical atraction, unless it really doesn't feel right, I don't believe a scentient human, can lower himself nowadays to beastly sex, as having 20 wives and such..... Men who have children and seeking men in the dark, because they taste it. Real love? We'll see.... I have a thing against lesbians, since my kids had 3 of those for guardianship and abused them after keeping them dark. Because I once had to go to a shelter for battered women and found lesbians absolute anti picking up peaces where it is wanted and needed, for me it emphasized the jalousy with which people in the west look at every neighbour, or better the dutch mentality needs a lot to be desired at the lowest, which is the top. is my conclusion in a never confusing wworld....

Sounds like they are sexually confused. Maybe they are bi-sexual and are not fully aware of it. You have placed the world in too much of a black and white, there are people who are bi-sexual. The world is finally getting away from the stuck up people who think that the world is black and white. You probably need to get out more and experiment when it comes down to sex, you might loosen up. Not everyone is the heterosexual, one person for the rest of your life missionary position like you are, thank goodness. Also, FYI homosexuality has been around since the beginning of time as has bi-sexuality.

I did just that. I was straight until I found myself falling for a fellow (male) student at university. At which point I decided I was gay and all that had gone before was an aberration stemming from denial. I swung between the two for years before I recognised that I was Bi.

And so the world turns.

Because you have just heard about someone's newly announced sexual orientation does not mean that the person hasn't been going through a long and difficult path of discovery. Should every person in the world contact you to let you know what is going on inside their head?

Most people do not decide what they are.

They decide what they are going to convey themselves as.

That is, there are gay people out there who spend most of
or all of their lives trying to convince the world that they
are heterosexual. At some point, they may simply give in.

There are bi-sexuals out there who may be disgusted with
one sex and prefer the other for awhile.

It is not for you to say what is easy or not for someone. For
many people, wrestling with their sexual identity will be THE
premier battle of their lifetimes. For others, its a no-brainer.

how can women look at another women and think the same thing? It dosen't matter if your straight, gay, or bi. its the way you see yourself. you can be anyway you want, but that don't mean, its the right choice. you just do what you feel at the time. And depending on your age. you must find your place within yourself, and which one you want to be. As they say. "Be true to yourself first"

It is a long slow process. You don't just decide one day. You may have had lots of experiences in your life that have led you to decide that you might be gay/straight. This is not something to be decided lilghtly.
