Let's start by saying I'M gay .. yea .. 'nuf said..

But I was just wondering why gay organisations and action groups are so pushy on the subject of "coming out" ..

Why do they advertise it as being so important?

Because seriously .. I'm kinda tired to go through the questions here or hearing stories every day where people will tell someone who asks what he should do when he/she's finds out he/she's gay and they come out with "WELL YOU SHOULD LIKE SO LIKE COME OUT LIKE YOU KNOW !"..

It's like a SLOGAN .. It's so repetitive and it's treated like the "BIG PLAN" you should follow all the time ..

I wanted to know why because when I hear about kids whose parents would KILL them (literally) if they were to be gay and the only answer they get is " your parents will love you always" and "you should tell them , lying is'nt a nice thing" .. I find it a bit absurd..

Unfortunatly , not all parents will have inconditional love for their kids ..

Anyway .. just wanted your opinion..

Before my best freind got married, we would hang out all of the time. Go out to eat, clubs, watch moies. During the time I've had feelings for him. I would think about him all the time. There was a rumour being spread about us the we was a couple, but we wasnt. Things that would have me think he gay, he would tell me that he wish I was girl cause we hung out all the time. There been sometimes he would know I get jealous when he with someone else, he would get jealous to. We would also have eye contact and he would com to my job everyday. He also would tell me he miss me when I'm gone out of town, when I wanted to end our friendship because of something that took place, he would almost cry, and tell me how it could work out. Sometimes I wanted to end the friendship because of the way I felt about him, even cried sometimes. Now hes married(i was best man)and has a baby. Now I'm alone, I been avoding him because of my feelings for him.
do you think hes bi, it dosent mattr now

since it is unnatural to be gay (face it, it is unnatural, i mean, humans are made to reproduce, and two guys or two girls cant reproduce, thats just how it is. i didnt say it was stupid or wierd, its just that its un-natural) can animals be gay? i mean, some people say that being gay is not true, meaning it's just a mental thing and you can "get over it". but if humans can be gay, can't animals? would christians consider gay animals bad as well?

im 23 and just married a great man and complelty in love with him. ive been sexually active since i was 19 and not to sound nasty but I LOVE MEN! everything about them, and i love sex with men, and not to sound concided but pretty good at it too. but about 2 years ago i started to notice women, i just like there nature, soft and pretty and clean and smell nice, dont get me wrong im very girly myself, but i get turned on by lesbian porn as well. one night i met this girl online and i went on a date with her she was very attracted to me but i didnt do anything and started to ignore her calls after, i got scared of further dates and what would happen. and ive made out with one of my best friends when we were drunk once, and i secretly liked it. i wouldnt mind expermenting with a girl but when i get the chance i never go through with it. i dont know?

I swear my mind is hosting both genders but my body is female.

So I've dated plenty of guys. I've always thought girls were cute, but not in the "OMFG I'd bang her" sort of way. So my friend who has had some lesbian experiences told me about her adventures, that made her feel guilty doing so many years ago. I was turned on, and unconciously i'd act masculine around her, so when i saw her everyday after that, I fell for her. I recently confessed my feelings to her.. and she said that she would think about it, but she'd probably not date me, because she's trying to be straight. I asked her out yesterday, and now we're going out.

I'm a romantic type, I don't want to immdiately "bang" someone after a few dates.
so is it really my "guy" concience that likes her?
or myself?

It strikes me that anyone who harbours any sort of hate has no room in their life for love or happiness. They must be terribly unhappy people to have such negative feelings bottled up inside them. Hate is so negative an emotion that it destroys the hater not the hated. Opinions?

i understand that the male sex drive is stronger, and therefore i understand why girls dont watch porn. what i dont get is why THEY dont understand why guys DO. ..so please girls. explain by saying something besides its gross and its degrading to women. explain tome why releasing sexual tension (which causes mental disorders if nto released) without raping you is bad.

I cannot believe the ignorance of so many people when it comes to this topic.

How would any person's heterosexual marriage be any different if a gay couple were allowed to wed or have a civil union?

How can anyone in this country in this day and age not believe that everyone deserves the same rights? It's the basis of the US constitution, yet a lot of people feel it is their right to decide otherwise.

I personally don't think the issue of gay marriage should be up to the voters, it is supposed to be up to the courts to interpret constitutional rights to protect minorities against the "tyranny of the majority".

The fact that I, as a gay man, am not allowed to marry my partner of 4 years, has all sorts of negative financial implications to me, while any 2 heterosexual people can get married on a whim and instantly have these rights that I am deprived of because I am gay.

How can our country ever overcome all the hatred and bigotry towards gays?

For a few months i have been noticeing that a few of my clothes, mainly underwear were goin' missing, but thought nothin' of it. then about a day ago i come home early from college and caught my brother - 18. In full 'drag'.
Now he is askin' for me to get him some bra's, thongs, tights, and make up of his own.

Okay so my classmates are always using words like F*ggot or Dyke or use gay as a way to say stupid, many of them tend to also draw swastikas and when I did day of silence they'd kick me or punch me or call me a f*ggot lover.
