I guess the only great answer I can come up with is: Why not? There is so much diversity in the rest of the natural world- why wouldn't it also extend to sexuality?

That is a question none of us have the power to answer. However, we can speculate. I am gay, and personally I think it has something to do with population control. I think we would find that if everyone in the world was straight, our population would be so out of control that the living conditions would be nearly unbearable. Another explanation might be diversity. Perhaps creating individuals with different sexual orientations was just God's way of creating diversity in the world. Just as her created African Americans, Native Americans, Hispanics, and Asians, he also created a homosexuals and heterosexuals. I truly believe that God wants all of us to love and get along with each other. By creating so much diversity in the world, he is showing us that although there are many different kinds of people, we still need to love and respect all of those individuals.

Because everyone has sinful tendencies, whether it be homosexuality, kleptomania, sadism, etc... The difference is that some people act on these tendencies and some resist them because they recognize that they are a perversion of the way God intended us to be. We all have free will and can choose what path to take in life, whether it be what we ourselves want or how God says we should live. He, of course, makes it worth our while- giving us a reward of eternal life free of these defective tendencies.

aparrently it's not a choice. I don't understand it tho. I would say lesbians are here because there are more women on earth than men, so if women hook up with each other than everyone can love. That dosen't explain gay men tho..... and I think I'm being a little silly
