i am bisexual but i've known for years - i still feel though that i am more attracted to men than woman. I do agree with Dawn H though, i think most women are bisexual, for the sole reason that it seems to be less taboo for them to be attracted to other women, unlike men.

HIV is not a homosexual disease - heterosexual couples get it too, as with any other STD. I think it's horrible that some people are making connections between homosexuality and AIDS...

I disagree. I hate it when anyone says "Everyone is bisexual." What is the basis for your believing that? Would you like it if someone said "Everyone is straight." or "Everyone is gay."? Until you have some method to read everyone's sexual orientation, such blanket statements are bogus, and they really are awful. Just like those people who say the bisexuality doesn't exist cut down bisexuals, saying that everyone is bisexual cuts down straight and gay people.
I believe that there are people out there who simply have no desire to be with the 'other' sex (whatever other that is- same or opposite) at all. They are 100% straight or 100% gay and never dally in between, and it has nothing to do with being open-minded- just about the lack of attraction there. I also believe that they're rare- most of us have some degree of attraction to both sexes, however slim, and we still call ourselves gay or straight. That's fine; however you wish to identify yourself, whatever feels right.
But no, not everyone is bisexual.

I've always believed that sexuality was something of a sliding scale. Say sexuality is between 1 and 10, 1 being the straightest you can be, and 10 being the gayest you can be; most people fall somewhere along that scale, even though they might never act on it.
I have always known that I was bi, but for many years more attracted to men than women. Now it's kinda weird cos I find more men attractive than I do women (I am very picky), but I can't imagine myself sleeping with another man again.
Oh, and to answer another point currently there are more straight women being infected with Aids/HIV than any part of the gay community.

I agree with Mark B. I know this sounds cliche, but human sexuality is fluid. That means that some people are pretty much 100% straight and others 100% gay. And that a lot of people fall somewhere in between. It's hard to tell the percentage that falls in each category. I know Kinsey tried to do that. The good news is, whatever you happen to be, there's always someone out there that feels just like you (meaning nobody is that unique)

Probably not everyone, but I do suspect that a much larger number are or would consider bisexual encounters if they could "get away" with it . Just sit in a mall courtyard area and people watch. You'll see girls looking at really gorgeous girls, maybe with envy but maybe with some lust. A real handsome guy will get sideways glances, a lot of them, from most guys and some will take several peeks or just outright stare if they don't know someone is watching.

Kinsey said that 10% are totally gay and 10% are totally straight and everyone else was somewhere in between and I think this is true as I am not completely straight but not that bi either and definitely not gay so that put me somewhere near the 80% mark on a sliding scale
No-one can be easily categorised as just being one of the three possibilities

I doubt everyone is bisexual. What you're probably thinking of is the fact that bisexuality is more common than is generally known. The hidden bisexuals consist of:
1. People who identify as gay or straight in order to gain acceptance.
2. People who are primarily straight, but who will engage in gay activities when deprived of the opposite sex (e.g. in jail or the armed forces).
3. People who are attracted to both sexes, but only act upon their heterosexual desires.
4. People who identify differently to their behaviours/fantasies.

I am bi-curious but I have never been with another girl. I always told one of my male guy friends that he is just a ****. He don't care who he is getting it from, as long as he is getting it.
I do believe that everyone has bisexual tendencies it just depends on the society they are raised in whether or not they let them out. It is more difficult for men because they are brought up with such strong stereotypes of what a true man is.

No way, that’s only what some bisexuals would like to believe. I’m gay and the thought of sex with a woman disgusts me. I also know a lot of straight men who are disgusted at the thought of gay sex. So a massive NO, we’re not all bisexual.

I have been actively bisexual for over twenty-five years. I do not find myself attracted to men in the way that women excite me, but mutual masturbation and oral sex with a man is very pleasing

I do not agree with this.
I do however believe that most women find other women attractive sexually.
I also believe that a man can find another man attractive (like envy), but there are men who are not sexually attracted to other men at all.
I do think that women are more likely to be Bi than men are.
