Because no matter how "white, thin and rich" you think you are, there are people out there who don't like you for no reason except that your white, thin and rich. Get it? No one can ever, EVER please everyone! All we can do is hope to please those around us by being good, honest people. Then we just HOPE that our color, etc., doesn't enter into other people liking us or not, because those are things beyond our control. And who wants to be judged on something beyond our control? Most of us don't even want to be judged by our past! Much less something we can't help now!

Most of the human nature is defined in the genes. That means people can not change the way we want them to, no matter how important we think it is for them to change.
Also, none of us are perfect in every way. Even the most gorgeous woman on earth would have some flaws; even the most perfect looking man would have some lose ends. Then how do we love someone ?
Answer is, by accepting them the way they are !
Example: One of my best friends is a chain smoker and I do not smoke. He can do anything for me but can not help smoking even after knowing that I strongly disapprove of smokers.
Here, if I continue protesting against this habit of his, then we would probably end up having a nasty argument. Instead, if I prepare myself to accept this 'bad habbit' of my friend knowing that he must have accepted many of my bad habbits, then the friendship would survive.
That is why it is important not to find flaws with people you love, and accept them the way they are.

Very important but the condition is the others you will accept as they are practice the limit each human has. Anyone goes beyond it and someone gets hurt, accepting others as they are will be destroyed. Come to think of it, the nature of humans must be based on some common character or factor as Confucius says kindness to one another. When that happens, the accepting of others as they are can be possible. What about Laozi, Jesus, Buddha? I think each got a special approach to teach us to accept others who must also be listening to these kind of teaching to make the outcome possible.

for a person to stop stereotyping another and judging one another. That's the most important thing by accepting a person. God is the only person who will make that judgment not one human being that's living right now. So, stop judging!

It is very important to be tolerant and be accepting of others. We basically all know this. Some are just too narrow minded to realize this.

it is very important because thats how life supposed to be, we are here not to judge or be judge, but rather to help and love people we are suppose to care, whatever other people ways or preferences as long as it does not afftects us in any personal way, its their life to live and we don't get bother by it, we live to be tolerant and to be tolerated!

So that we can all get along. Nobody should have to change to be accepted, that wouldn't be fair.
