Well, you "obviously" know there are ulterior motives behind this lunch or you wouldn't feel bad. Even if its not on the "cute persons" side, it is on yours. Just remember, being attracted to someone isn't a crime or even morally bad, ACTING on it is. So, you have three basic choices:

1 - have a nice lunch with a new cute friend and make it plain that you are in a happy 2 year relationship (wait, you never said it was a good relationship).

2 - have a great lunch with your new secret bf and enjoy yourself.

3 - explain your quandry to your cute friend. BE HONEST, tell him how you feel even if that's not how he feels. Just let him know that you find him attractive, but your in a committed relationship and at this time, being around him complicates things for you. He may then tell you that you have no chance with him and your only chance with him IS to be a friend, OR you may find out you were right and he was interested in you too.

There is a simple way of answering these types of questions...

First, ask yourself how you would feel if your bf went to lunch with another good looking gay man.

Second, ask your bf to see how he feels about it.

If you are planning on going to lunch and not telling your bf and/or are concerned about the reaction of your bf, you definitely need to cancel and tell the guy to leave you alone.

Be careful what you do when it comes to bringing other guys partially into your business, especially since you mentioned he's persistent and you also described him as cute. This could easily bring unwanted drama, and that could cause a lot of strain on your relationship.

No. Why? You're just going to lunch. You might just make a good friend. If things go well, then next time take your significant other along and all three of you have lunch together.

I think we're all getting too uptight! Relax. It's lunch!

Do you want to risk the solid trust and foundation of your wonderful happy 2 yr relationship???

would u want your partner to go out with some cute person for lunch? and more??

Temptation is the Devil!!!!!

Don't do it, you already have doubts.

the grass is always greener on the other side until you have to mow it!!

Don't do it unless you want to break up your 2 yr relationship.

Sounds like you already know you can't go thru with this!

i'd tell you not to! it's the first step into cheating

You are absolutely free to do as you choose as long as you are not married .
Have you made any promises to the 'other' person ?
Sit down, put your cards on the table and be honest .If you do go out with someone else it means you are no longer 100% committed and window shopping .
Only you can decide where you stand .

Maybe the person is lonely and wants friends. We get questions like that here. Go to lunch and find out the intentions. Maybe all this person is looking for is an introduction.

that is not any longer correct how dazzling he's, if he has undesirable breath it rather is an exceptionally enormous turn off. in the previous you adult adult males kiss, pull out some gum for you and playfully ask if he needs some too. it would be a extraordinary thank you to do away together with his undesirable breath in the previous kissing.

Depends. Do you think that if there was any "funny business" you'd be able to control yourself? If not, then cancel, but I think people should be able to control their behavior enough to say no in any situation... it's not that hard.

If it's a harmless lunch, no. If it's a lunch with hidden motives, yes.
