When I was young I was considered good looking and I was really shy and innocent. I met a few drag queens and they scared hell out of me---because their humour was based on cruelty. Honestly they could be so bitchy that I just avoided them. Of course not all drags are like this. But I wonder why so many of them have their humour based in cruelty. (I know that cruelty is a basis for much humour--but in this case it sometimes seems exclusive.)

I am really confusd as to who I am, I was raped 2 times in childhood by 2 males at age 12, then i developed a liking for males after that I developed a liking for straight porn. Then I switched back to gay porno now I am turned on by straight porno and i develope a feeling of love for girls but not to have sex with them, however I am really turned on by lesbians in movies, and especially the sight of vagina, but i mostly remain flaccid at the sight of girls in bikinis however i am sure i would get turned on by a naked girl... I am really confused rite now as 2 what my orientation is ?

Most of you girls think being a man is an easy life, so why don't we see (many/any) sex changes, female to male. We see loads & loads the other way around male to female, so what gives ???

How do you know if someone may be gay ? I am a gay male who is pretty undetectable. I have developed a great friendship recently w/ a "straight" guy and he is aware of my orientation. Lately, I have noticed a definate vibe coming from him when we are together. He is also extremely demonstrative and is not shy about making any kind of body contact with me.In fact, I truly believe that he looks for ways to get close to me.
We usually hang out a couple of times a week, but its always just the two of us.He has a girlfriend whom I have never met as she always "can't seem to make it this time" whenever we get together.Has anyone ever been through this? If so, what do you do ?

As a lesbian I am curious to know something. Is it possible, for anyone who considers themselves to be bisexual, to be in a long term monogomas relationship?

For example, if a man considers himself to be bisexual that means he dates both men and women. When he is with a woman he is considered straight, but when he is with a man, he is in a gay relationship.

So as to not identify with being just gay or straight, I would think he would have to keep changing partners every so often so he can keep saying that he's bisexual.

I guess I'm confused on how a person can't just identify as either gay or straight. Maybe I don't understand the whole bisexual thing of being attracted to both men and women. Maybe someone could help explain that to me, also. I just don't see how anyone who calls themselves bisexual could every have a loving long-lasting meaningful relationship. Does anyone care to explain it to me?

I am pissed off. My girlfriend and I broke up like 3 years ago, and she knows that I still love her. She has a girlfriend and I am also seeing someone, but we talk every now and then. All of a sudden now she won't answer my phone calls or emails. Moreover, I sent her a dozen of roses to her job; she didn't call to thank me. Readers might say, "well how do I know she recieved them". Trust me I know. I hate the way I feel right now. Ugh... Before this we talked at least once every 2 weeks. I am not sure if her girlfriends wants her talking to her ex lovers, but I would think she would have told me. I am really in love with this girl I can not eat or sleep. I been calling her like crazy. I want to stop, but I can not stop thinking about her. I need her, she means everything to me. One day I called her from my work number, she called back and when she foundout it was me she hung up. What was that about.

As a Christian, I believe homosexual behavior is sinful, but I DON'T condemn anyone for it, since I'm a sinner too.

As an American, I believe homosexual Americans should have all the same CIVIL rights as any other citizen.

So here's my question: As long as all your rights are guaranteed and protected by the government, does it matter to you folks whether you are "married" in the eyes of the church, or only parties to a legally-valid "civil union"? I ask this because I read where a homosexual Episcopalian minister was holding out for religious recognition of his civil union. He said the words "civil union" left him cold.

I'm trying to understand your views, so no hateful replies, please.

Don't just say, 'you like both guys and girls.'
I was just wondering.. cause I don't like most girls, I only like a few and what I feel for them feels different to what I feel for guys, and I'm a bit confused because I think it's just a phase I'm going through? Is that possible?
Any help?

integrate it into the society without change?

I have two gay brothers, well, I should say that I had two gay brothers. One of them died several years ago from AIDS, so I only have one living brother now. The views I'm going to express are those that they and some of their friends shared with me during discussions on the subject of homosexuality. They didn't necessarily agree that being gay was something that a person was born as, that some people chose it as a lifestyle, comparing it to a brunette changing their hair to that of blond. People can say "Why would anyone choose to be gay when gays tend to get such grief?", but people do that type of thing all of the time. Look at Emos and Goths for example, they choose to be that way despite the grief they get for it. But they did say that they felt some were born that way. Of the ones that are born that way, it was brought up that people are born all sorts of ways which deviate from "the norm", so if being born that way was a valid reason in itself for acceptance, then it should then apply all across the board. But it doesn't. Two examples are that of alcoholic and sex offender (and this is just two of many). Neither of these are accepted by society as being okay to just be that way. The people who are "born that way" are expected to change their behaviour. People can claim that being an alcoholic or sex offender is a danger to society, but then the same claim can be made about being gay. Homosexuality is anti-survival in that to be truly homosexual would mean that you would not propagate. Since being homosexual can be a lifestyle choice, then acceptance of it encourages others to adopt it, which can eventually lead to willful genocide. And while it might not be responsible for initiating certain STDs, it has helped to spread them.

You can say that I'm being prejudiced but 1) these are the views my gay brothers and some of their friends expressed, and 2) if the reasoning isn't valid, then you should be able to give valid reasoning against it. Not doing so or being able to do so simply validates the statements I have presented. Also, if you're going to point out that there are things which you consider to be wrong that society currently accepts and allows, then that argument doesn't work in your favour, because if you feel that they are wrong, then you don't feel that there is valid reason for them to be accepted and allowed.

So, to get to the question, how is "I was born that way" a valid enough reason for a society to not only accept homosexuality, but to also integrate it into the society without change?
