how high a ripe pineapple would bounce if dropped from lets say 12 foot?

it really depends on the surface on which the said pineapple is falling.
if its hard dry ground, i would say 3 ft 4 inches
It it was soft ground, 2.3 inches
If it was soft wet ground, 0.35 inches
if it was a grocery store, on to the member of staff (who is watching curiously as you scale the walls to drop it)'s foot, 0 inches and an a*s kicking.

Depends what it was dropped on? ie a trampoline then roughly 4 foot (at a guess) or in some water then probably not at all, unless it was thrown at an angle like in skimming a stone?

If dropped onto a hard surface, such as a paved road, they usually split open. Dropped onto a dirt road, they may bounce approx. 3-5 inches.
