Men and woman are raised differently and that seems to help make differences. Have you ever noticed that there are very sensitive emotional men and very aggressive women? So I think that personality comes into it as well: nature and nurture.

In reference to those you're likely to experience? Sure. I'm not entirely sure that would hold true as a universal for a cross-cultural study though. Gender is inherently tied to the culture one is raised in: even once you're aware of how we're gender-socialized, it's still difficult to try to escape that. Also...exactly what do you mean by "men" and "women"? There are five possible genetic combinations for sex: not just XY or XX. And there are numerous other things that can happen resulting in physical blurring of sexes. Emotional gender, then, would almost HAVE to be a million times more complex.

Yes, definitely. I believe it's a mixture of biological and social factors (moreso the latter than the first) that creates these differences.

I also believe that men and women have much more in common than they have things in difference; we are all people, after all.

As far as the medical science that I've read on this subject goes, most of the differences have been found to be related to socialization and hormones.

no, we are all born with the same emotions. we are just trained differently in terms of when and how to use them, therefore, we become conditioned to act differently.. personally, i think it's sad. surpressing emotions is the #1 reason why men suffer from anxiety, stress, and eventually suffer depression, burnout, and even heart attacks! i am proud to display my girly/feminine side as often as possible, and one day, plan on transitioning to become 100% woman!
