There are actually quite a lot of female-to-male transsexuals out there; statistics seem to indicate that there are just as many as male-to-female. However, the media is so focused on MtF's that nobody ever hardly sees FtM's. Do some searching around, though; you'll find many FtM's out there; look up Matt Kailey, Dhillon Khosla, Jamison Green, Lou Sullivan, Max Wolf Valerio, Billy Tipton, Del La Grace Volcano, Brandon Teena, and so on. Perhaps another reason why they aren't highly visible is because FtM's usually transition very well, often looking exactly like biological men, whereas some MtF's, despite being on hormones, have some difficulty shedding their transsexual appearance.
And remember- nobody changes their sex because being the other gender is easier! Goodness gracious; that would be insane. People change their sex because they feel they were born in the wrong body and to be in that body causes them great unhappiness- only such strong feelings can justify the tremendous cost of therapy, hormones, and surgery, the hassle of lifelong hormone treatments, and the insults, hatred, and potential violence.
Hope that helps!

The ratio of M2F transsexuals to F2M transsexuals (ie "the other way" as you call it) is roughly 3:1 in most cultures and is by no means universal.
People do go the other way, many theories argue why it is less common. Perhaps the greater social fluidity of the female gender role means fewer genetic women feel the need to do so compared with the social straight jacket that is the male gender role? Perhaps there is greater variability in the XY karyotype than XX?
The bottom line is we just don't know enough about the causes of transsexuality to say. But ultimately people do go the other way.

There a size able number of female to male individuals and in many ways these individuals look more believe able as man than male to female ones. The effect of the male hormones is more effective, and they can get away with having just a mastectomy surgery wise however the creation of a penis costs much more and isn't always effective.

Ah... Now when I was in uni in Swansea there was a girl on my course/class. She was dating another girl who was going through a sex change to become a man.
From what I heard through that girl her partner always knew she was in the wrong body and wanted to make love to her g'f as a man not a woman.
I met the partner only once and by that time she had already been taking male hormones and her chest was reduced and she had signs of slight facial hair developing. Her voice was also slightly deeper than what you would normally expect with a woman.
By now... 13 years later I assume she'd of had the operation and now living as a man.

Funny you should ask : A friend and I were pondering the same question re: why more men change to female than the other way around. I mean it's so high maintenance being in a female body and I have often thought it would be easier to have been born male

Changing from a female to a male means you would be putting yourself in the position of being the person who does all the work! The point of being passive, and masturbating another woman if you are a lesbian, is that it is less work!

the subject isn't (completely) with your bf, it starts with YOU. To be 21 (very nearly 22) and have had 'many' relationships shows a loss of adulthood and actual intensity on your very own existence. we are residing in a lifestyle that's 'intercourse- saturated' and over-centred on intercourse. To be so sexually 'energetic' on your 'many relationships' so as which you're 'experienced' in the mattress room additionally shows a loss of adulthood. intercourse is an incredible portion of a companionship relationship, even however that's only one section. To 'want it' 3x an afternoon is somewhat OVER what's 'typical' and shows which you would be addicted to intercourse, having no longer given it its 'perfect place' in the relationship. till the guy works in the porn marketplace, he's probably no longer waiting to fulfill your 'desires'. adult adult males (frequently) desire to be 'in value' of while to start intercourse, as he could be coming domicile drained from artwork, or merely be centred on particularly some the 'different' issues that incorporate a existence. in case you extremely love him, supply him somewhat area, and tease HIM each now and then so coach your activity, without being pushy to get your way. He has 'desires' to, and particularly a number of those do no longer contain intercourse.

It happens though not as often. The partner of a friend of mine went FtM. I even know of a couple FtM with an MtF. I believe that it is becoming more common. Humans are infinitely adaptable and anything is possible. Great!

It happens but it is much less common than m to f. The penis is actually grafted from skin on the person's body and formed to resemble a male organ. Obviously there is no ejaculation, however the urethra is extended making urination possible.
