marriage is meant for men and women,blah blah blah,they usually use scripture and hate to try to "cure" us.why cant straits just be happy being strait without being so hateful and trying to convert us into straits?what are they really afraid of?

The argument here is that lesbian and gay are both "homosexual" therefore it is the same sexual preference
so I think guys who think lesbians are ok but not gays, are hypocrites

Ok I need some advice. Most men in my life have been MAJOR LET DOWNS. Another woman was there to hear my gripes and give her opinion/advice. I'm now attracted to her and vice-versa, but for reasons unknown, i'm still very much attracted to MEN. Does this make me bi or a lesbian?

Every Mosaic law dealing with sex, from not letting one's "seed" touch the ground, to not having sex with a menstruating woman, to not "sleeping with mankind," to marrying one's widowed sister-in-law, had to do with ensuring that there were more Hebrews/Israelites being born as quickly as possible to strenghten the tribe (against the competition from other tribes) simply by force of numbers. There wasn't any issue of morality, just practicality.

Just a thought. I may be wrong. Often am. But not usually.

Gays feel everything about members of their own sex that straights feel about members of the opposite sex, item for item, facet for facet. Straight people cannot fathom being attracted to members of their own sex, so why is it so hard to comprehend that gays feel the same way about the opposite sex? Are we all making this issue way too complicated?

Maybe "preference" isn't always the best word to use, anymore than "lifestyle" describes gay existence. Are we not doing as good a job communicating as we think we are? Or is someone just not listening?

What I'm talking about is the idea of non-gay persons declaring that we choose this way of life and that we are denying God and that we are hiding in a dark place....blah blah. You get the point. My question is why do those who cannot know what it is to be us can so seriptitiously be so blyth with their statements? I am not God so I do not pressume to speak as Him yet these people, knowing nothing of us, declare to know us better than ourselves.

At this point I already know what some of them will say, but it would nice if even one of them could give an honest answer. Doubtful I know but I'll still give it a try.

Because male, female, straight, or Gay, is what we are in this physical body; then how can God; who is beyond the physical body be Gay (or male or female for that matter)? Why would Jesus be Gay? Is it just because he had all male deciples? If Gays want Christians to accept them, wouldn't it be better to say that Jesus loves Gays? I'm a single fem lesbian and i am also an exotic dancer. I have really no problems with my job except for this one guy that comes in there every day and sits down and stares at me he even tryed to propose to me. and if you think thats not stalking he even went as far as paying some to find out where i live and my phone nummber. He calls me off the hook and textes me like theres no tommorrow. And just yesterday he told my best friend which also works at the club that if he cant have me he was going to kill her. I've did the restraing order and filed nummours complaints but nothing is seeming to work. I fear for me and my best friends life that this man is going to take it to far one day.
