It seems so weird to me that you can be around a person, and genuinely feel a connection to them, but not know if they share the same feelings. It's strange. You would think that feeling a certain way towards a person, having feelings of trust, loyalty, deep caring, friendship, etc. would be a two way street. It seems to me that you wouldn't really develop those feelings unless you knew on some level they felt the same way. I'm sorry this doesn't make a lot of sense, but does anyone see what I mean? Thanks.

One partner of a gay couple that I know was on vacation seeing family & he hadn't seen his boyfriend for 3 days until he showed up to play cards, & they didn't even hug or anything or say I missed you. I'm sure it was because they were in a public place but I found that to be so sad that they would actually worry about what anyone else thought when if I had a husband & he walked in I'd hug him & say welcome home. Will there come a time when you just don't give a hoot & show public affection? I'm not talking about making out on a pool table but holding hands or anything else that straight people do should be what gay couples do. The couple I know don't even sit next to each other which I find so so sad. What's your opinion? Bashers don't even bother answering

Every time I come on to Y! Answers, I'm shocked by the amount of hatred there is within the LGTB / culture section. There is only so many times I can attempt to "explain" to heterosexual (and often homophobic) individuals that I didn't "choose" to be gay, and that I'm not going to burn in hell. I see too that a lot of gay people fire back angry responses (which I totally understand... I sometimes do the same thing). I know it all comes down to education and awareness, and unfortunately, I can't imagine that the stigmas ever disappear, but how should we, as a LGTB community, respond to this hatred? Is it best to ignore it? Is it best to fight back and show OUR hatred? Is there ANYTHING we can do to make this place a more understanding place to visit, or is this a lost cause? Let's try to work together people: maybe then we will be heard?

If a woman has chosen to get so smashed out of her face on alcohol that she is completely oblivious to her surroundings and is so paralytic she can't even tell that someone is having sex with her, does she have a right to cry rape the next morning? I was a bartender for a long time and when ever there was a problem at the bar, 75% of the time it revolved around a guy who was between 5'2"-5'5".

Short women are usually cute and sweet, but the majority of short men I have encountered are Mr. Attitude.

Does this make me bi? a cpl of months ago i was at a party where i got completely smashed and got off (made out) with lodz of random girls, then this boy started kissing me and i didnt stop it, we were both topless and it was in front of every1, and happened quite a few times, i only remember it vaguely. I said that it was because i was drunk, because i genuinly was. I kept thinking about it, but mainly just becasue it was funny and a bit outragous really, and then it happened again with the same boy and another boy at a different party, and he admitted he was bi-sexual, he goes to my school and gets ripped becasue they all found out from someone the first time, but ive managed to keep it quiet becasue we are in different classes, i no him pretty well and i go and smoke with him after school some days, and the other day when i was sober for a change, i thought if he wanted to kiss me now, i wouldnt stop it! I am 15, so this could just be experimenting, but i still like girls too!
