Because some misguided homophobic "christians" feel it is their duty to preach hatred, bigotry, discrimination and therefore violence against LGBT people. Of course, they are hypocrites.
Because there are few facilities for abused or runaway LGBT teens, who often end up living on the streets, and fall victim to crime and criminals.
Because a tiny, yet vocal minority people have been taught to hate instead of tolerate, love and work for justice and equality for all.
Many of us here at the LGBT forum take active steps to try and eliminate some of these situations.

People need to have shelters for LGBT youth to provide some sanctuary from he haters of the world. It is a sad day that a child be thrown out of a home because of their sexuality and left to survive on their own. This world really needs to change and unfortunately I think it will only get worse in the future.

i'm actual shocked that Tyra or maybe any of those human beings, might droop to the low factor of tearing down all people, enormously all people of the bisexual community. the reality that they even positioned the assumption of there being a totem pole of gay worthiness is absurd, we are who we are, and we got here into this international without being lessened and in comparison, it is the kind of ingredient that needs to be stopped - labels destroy each thing.
