im gay and i know it. but theres this boys in my class that hit on me they like hug and touch me but they also do tht to the gurls. r they gay or bi or something or r they just playing around. none of them seem gay they all play football/b-ball or they wrestle and one of them is highly religous

Do you think drag queens put women down to assert their sexuality or is it just a camp form of light entertainment?
Do you think drag just purports the 'femme' stereotype of the limp wristed darling or is there a deeper underlying social commentary on hetero-normative conditioning?
Is drag a form of satire, a political rights 'protest' aimed at flaunting homosexuality in the faces of bigots or am I reading too much into drag as a performance piece?

My best friend recently came out to his parents that he's gay and his parents kicked him out of the house. I've been letting him stay here, and I have absolutely no problem with him living with me. What we, want to know is, is there any possible way that his parents will be able to accept him for who he is, or should he just keep putting distance bewteen them?

I'd prefer that only those who have gone through this be the ones to answer.

Ok here is the deal I have been straight all of my life untill I meet this girl named Brandy. She was nice and the complete oppisite of me. I like her alot and I am not ofr sure if she likes me. Hello. I am currently a French language teacher at a high school. I recently had a 9th grade student come to me and tell me that he’s gay. He told me that he has told no one else and that he just needed someone to talk to. He and I have been very close, as he stays after school to help me, and he is very efficient in French, so he helps some of the students who are having trouble for me. He has stated that he feels at comfort when talking to me. I have no problem with gays, and I actually promote GLBT rights, as I have a brother who is gay, and a sister and friend who are lesbians. I just have no idea how to talk to him about it. I don’t know what to say. He said he is afraid that if his parents find out, that he will be kicked out onto the streets. He has also told me that some students pick on him, calling him names like queer, f-a-g, homo, among other more offensive names. However, he won’t tell me who is doing this.
