Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender - November 2006

I keep hearing this from the Religious right, like a mantra: There are no happy gays. But--I'm gay and I'm pretty sure I'm as happy as the next guy. Am I really the only one? I suspect that if gays are less happy than anyone else, it's because they're subjected to the hateful rhetoric of conservative Christians every single day of their lives. What do you think?

I read and answer questions in this section. Why do people keep on trying to get me to pray out the gay or say things that can cause offence!
Quite obviously most the ppl on this section are small minded homophobs so wont take those answers sympathetically! They are preaching to the wrong audience!

Never have I thought after one of these comments that God hates me or a better start acting straight again!

My message to them is to give up and get a clue!

..I was reading an article this morning about an upset mom, who was reading her child this book that she had come home with. It was entitled three to love or something like that, and it was about these 2 penguins who were gay males and had adopted an abandoned egg, and they raised it. I know the book is a kids fiction book, but, are animals gay or is that a just with human beings?

I live in Europe (Germany) and it is totally acceptable for "boyfriends" and "girlfriends" to live together here. Almost no one is having babies..... and when a girl gets pregnant here, she is often angry that it happened: So, either an abortion takes place or a sorrowful wedding. What has happened to "civilized societies" where marriage seems to be considered a cursed thing.

I'm a transsexual, and no matter what I do, it's not right. If you want proof, just look at some of the answers to my questions about the topic on yahoo answers. All I get is negativity, hate, biotry, ignorance, and disgust. I have people trying to play God with my life telling me what I'm doing wrong, or what I SHOULD be doing instead. I can't find a partner who is willing to date me. Employment is difficult, I've lost friends and family. People who have seemed interested in me, I've come to find out later, only wanted to try to fulfill some kind of sexual fetish curiosity with me. No one sees me as a person, with feelings. I feel used by everyone I come in contact with. That people don't like me for who I am, they only like me for what I can do for them, or anything deep about me is disregarded because I'm just a "freak". I'm tired of this...my brain and my heart hurts, and can take no more. I'm seriously on the brink of just ending it. Why do people have to be so cruel?
