I keep hearing this from the Religious right, like a mantra: There are no happy gays. But--I'm gay and I'm pretty sure I'm as happy as the next guy. Am I really the only one? I suspect that if gays are less happy than anyone else, it's because they're subjected to the hateful rhetoric of conservative Christians every single day of their lives. What do you think?

That's what they keep telling themselves to justify their crusade of intolerance and hate. I'm happy and frankly much, much, happier now than I ever was following their cultish religion of intolerance.

Their whole schtick is that they're helping us and how can they help us if we keep insisting that we are happy.
So they work double time to make us unhappy by their attacks and admonishments. Ain't working, but they are a plucky bunch of peckerwoods and won't give up the ghost anytime soon.

yes there are . and as you already know, the original meaning of "gay: is happy. I think gays got there names because most people believe that men are suppose to be unemotional, and manly.

well the guy i know only turned gay through his depression and when he recovered he regret everything he did, i think gays are only happy when ther are faking it or when they live a depressed life all the time
