First of all, I do not mean to stereotype, because I hate to be stereotyped. But are there any bisexual women that love women as equally as they love men or more, and feel like they can settle down and marry(although not legally) with a woman and raise a family? Or will they always end up settling down with a man because they can marry him legally, have children with, look better in society with, life is easier with or just because they generally like men more? And for those who can settle down with a woman, are they really lesbians? Or will they marry a woman and end up desiring a man or feeling incomplete?

Do you volunteer to help the world in which you live to make a better place? If so then how? Who do you help? Why? Why do you volunteer there or help those people, animals, or places? Do you think it is doing any good?

I do volunteer and help younger children and animal rescue groups. I can see that it does a lot of good for the animals to find loving homes where they are part of the family and when I take the time to teach a child something and give them the attention they crave.

In the GLBTQ community I was wondering how many gay, lesbian, or bisexual adults volunteer at your local GLBTQ youth groups. Do you think you should help the youth deal with and talk about some of the issues they will have to deal with? Did somebody at a youth group help you when you were younger and in the main "coming out" stage? Did you have somebody to talk to? Are you now that person to talk to for someone else?

There is a woman I have known for years. Wedated briefly then stopped because of distance and tried to date several times later but the time was never right (distance, being in relationships etc). So we were very good friends. Last year we found out we would both be moving to the same place so I told her I was in love with her and wanted to try a relationship. She said she didn't feel the same way and we got into an argument and didn't speak for a long time. I saw her a few days ago and we hung out for a while and I realized I'm still in love with her. I don't know how she feels. What should I do?

I am an African-American lesbian whio isn't anywhere near being wealthy. Gays get a lot of discrimination against them, but I just try to ignore it because if I wasn't gay, people from all walks of life would still discriminate against me, possibly because I'm black, or a woman, or poor.People will always find some way to hate you if you are different, no matter what it is, because bigots will always exist. This is another reason why I have pride in being gay, even though I get a lot of negativity because it only makes me stronger! What else in your life do or would you be hated for even if you weren't gay?

Do you think parents know if their kid is bisexual (or gay)? I am just curious if most parents know. I'm still not sure of my sexual orientation, and I don't think I've ever showed any signs of being bi (FYI, I am a female teenager), but do my parents know and are just waiting for me to come to them? I'm pretty close to them, but I don't know if they would know if I don't tell them. I'm not sure if I will, but I'm just wondering...

When I was 14 almost 4 years ago, my parents pressured me into getting a girlfriend. Now only a few days until I turn 18 they and my girlfriend are trying to pressure me into marriage. But I cannot see myself happy with her, or any female either...

I am also in love with my best friend, who has said he loves me. But I am too scared to live my own life, I worry too much about pleasing my parents... I also worry they might get more violent that they already are to me....

Any advice on how I can come out of this ALIVE, living my life as I want?

I am a Christian man and earlier I posted some questions that gave some the impression that I hate gays and lesbians, which nothing can be further from the truth. Although, I don't approve of your lifestyles I still have much love for you. Just as it is my purpose to spread the gospel, it is also my purpose to show love for everyone regardless of race, color, creed or sexual orientation. So at this time I would like to offer my apology to anyone who misinterpreted my intent as being that of hatred. We live in a country that gives us the freedom to voice our opinions, and though our views may differ, it is always important that we learn to live together peacefully and love and respect one another. Peace be with you all. Are you with me?

I really wanted to ask this question. I live on the east coast. I see
a lot of females amd some males, some of them look gay and some look straight. At first the earring in the eyebrow means that a person is gay. Now, I see the earring under the lip. Does that mean a person is gay?

They are always saying things like "A girl/guy shouldn't do this because that's not right for their gender"

For example, I have a tendency to wear baggy clothing. Since I am a girl, they are always telling me that it's wrong for me dress the way I dress because I'm a girl and I'm wearing such "guy-ish" clothing.

Another one would be when my boy cousin went away for 10 weeks and he never got a hair-cut. He came back with his hair a little long on the back of his neck and his mom was reprimanding him the whole way back about how he should've gotten a haircut, how gay he looks, how wrong it is, and so forth...

(This is just 2 out of the many examples I can name)

I'm completely basing my statement that my family is homophobic with this... Am I wrong though? Do they seem homophobic? Or am I just jumping to conclusions a little too quick?

I don't want to know how you THINK you will react (i.e. some people think that they will be reasonable and accept, but when it actually happens, they flip out and start b*tching)...
I want you to actually close your eyes and imagine the situation unfolding before you, and the first reaction that pops into your head is most likely the way you will react...

A friend of mine told me that israel indvaded lebanon so that hezbolla would stop throwing wild gay orgies. They were too loud and bothered the people. When they asked hezbolla to stop, hezbolla kidnapped and sodomized some israeli soldiers. So now they have a war. Its like i support gay rights, but not by force like hezbolla seems to want.
Who is right, and how can they stop all of this mess?
