No. There exist some stereotypes about the behavior of people according to their sexual orientation, but far from everyone fits into the stereotype and some people even fit into the opposite stereotype (like a straight person "acting gay"), so there's really no way to tell by the way they act.

In general, no, I don't think so. Sometimes a gay man or lesbian woman will dress a certain way to draw attention to his or her sexuality, but even that indication is oftentimes questionable. Truthfully, if I see a group of guys let's say outrightly talking about gay matters in a public place, then I know for sure they are gay. Gay men tend to congregate in groups, even in the most public of places. Two men together? No, that in of itself means nothing to me. It's when they are in groups and talk quite freely about boyfriends and the like, then I know. Once at school, I was walking down the hall and this group of guys, all very average acting, perhaps even above-average looking men, were talking about their dating life involving men -- then I knew for sure. And they were carrying on this conversation right in the middle of a busy hallway. Bisexual men are far more descrete and closeted and tend to talk about sexual issues in private with a close bi or gay platonic friend.

I never concern myself with a person's sexual orientation. It'll make you nuts. I've known women who in my opinion should have been men, but they are happily married. I know a woman who went steady with a boy throughout high school and later married him. They had 3 kids and one day she left him for another woman. Who knew? I used to be friends with a couple guys in high school. One in particular behaved like a girl. Years later, he confided to me that he was gay. When he divulged who his partners where, I was surprised. Some of the men he paired up with looked like football players.

If I were you, whether you act straight or not and whether you are straight or not, what difference does it make?

For year I knew I was gay and acted straight. After I came out I was told that some of my behaviour was slightly camp. My boyfriend who has been out as gay all his life has what he calls 'gaydar'. He can read body language and most of the time tell if someone is gay or not. According to him if someone is gay they will subconsciously act in a way that says they are gay.

There is always different from person to person. It is quite difficult to say this kind so person is this. But some times the gay people wear ladies dress or someing odd dress which typically ease to understand. But, it is not alway true. I may be gay but nobody knows this fact even nobody can claim.

Possibly the way you react to certain questions, subtle comments you make, hobbies / interests, your choice of clothing, friends / clubs / bars / social environments can also come into play. If your indeed gay then why not just tell them your gay, big deal! If your not gay then just stay the way you are, your actions will speak for you, again no big deal! Best of luck! Cheers!

No.

There's a gay community subculture that exists, the members of which are distinct in their behavior, but being gay on its own doesn't actually make you act differently.

Are your mannerisms effeminate in any sense? Often times, effeminate behavior in men will be ascribed to homosexuality, even though, in reality, an effeminate man isn't necessarily gay.

what are they referring to? Aren't you mach enough for them? Big deal. Means nothing. Do you stare at a woman when she walks by? Or a guy? That's telling. Watch your own reactions to things. They may know something you haven't even picked up on yet. Surprise!
