So my nationality is American and what if one day I move to Canada and have kids there. Would my kids be considered part American at all? I mean American isn't a race or really a ethnicity, its mainly a nationality since its diverse. If not then can the kids say that their father was an American? What do you think?

Thank you for reading.

Letter jacket? What are you hanging on to? When I went to a party tonite and put on a skirt I made when my youngest daughter was a baby (I only wear it once a year, and it is a long Christmas plaid, so it is still as pretty as new) I thought about how old it was (40 yrs!!!) and started thinking about some of the other clothes I have had for years, mostly classic holiday stuff. I still have a red crew neck sweater that I wore in highschool, and it is still wearable! My two daughters wore it when they went to highschool! I even wore it a couple of times last winter. What do you have that you still wear, from days gone by?

Remember when you had to get up and turn the channel on the tv?
Remember when microwaves first came out? They were expensive and they were called Radar Ranges.

Remember a big boxy telephone that had a long cord and a dial?

Remember the first mobile phones? They were the size of a shoe box.

What "remember whens" can you come up with?

☺ Gladys, I am particularly anxious to see your answers.

While sitting lift your right leg off of the floor and rotate in a clockwise motion. While doing this ''draw'' a number 6 in the air with your right hand without stopping your leg from rotating.
I can't do it and I have tried several times.

We lived in different states but when I'd go see him we were best friends. He taught me everything about life. When he was a young man he joined the Air force when I was 21 I joined the Army. He really wanted me to go into the Air force but we would share stories and related to each other on a new level. When he got the Alzheimer's he never forgot about our stories although he thought it was 1943 and I was over seas. He always asked how I liked doing KP kitchen patrol. His favorite thing was asking me how many potatos I peeled today. I didn't have the heart to tell them we used boxed potatoes or a machine peeler. He was the greatest man that ever lived and from the greatest generation. I never seen him lose his temper. I must pick up the phone twice a day to call him and now, well now it's just me and my memories of the greatest man ever. Thanks for listening folks. And if you still have a grandpa or grandma for gods sake call them and say I love you.

"PETA believes that ... like you ... [animals] are capable of suffering and have an interest in leading their own lives; therefore, they are not ours to use — for food, clothing, entertainment, experimentation, or any other reason. — People for the Ethical Treatment of Animal"

Now, my question is, what do they think about animals eating other animals for food?(food chain) Do they attempt to turn carnivorous animals into vegiterians as well?

I remember when hurricane Katrina happened they news would show picture of "looters" and say how bad they were.

I just saw a video on the news of a flood in Washington. the anchor described it like ths "there is a man in a boat. he has been making several trips to wal-mart and loading the boat full of stuff."

er .... didn't that used to be called looting?

I'm 15, I'm bi, and i came out to my sister. Do not question my sexuality please, i am sure of it. But my sister was talking to one of her friends and they said that she said that she would rather me gay than bi. This confuses me because I would think if you did come out to a family member they would rather me be bi instead of gay so that there would be some hope for a straight relationship and a straight mirage. This is why I am confused. Why Would she want me to be completely gay? Please help.
Thanks,
Cam
