Heaven forbid, we were sincerely interested in Prince Albert's welfare when we did our best to release him from captivity, or what a new mother could use to help drive her baby buggy (tickle it's feet) -- and other very mature educational inputs.

We used to do this all the time when I was a youngster around 12 or 13 in the '50's. We thought it was hilarious. We did all the usual ones like Bart Simpson does . We used to order take-out food and send it to people we knew whenever we had pyjama parties . I am ashamed thinking back how we had no remorse or thought as to the cost of doing this. We also used to randomly pick names from the phone book and ask for the person until we called a number and were told the person had died the previous month . That stopped us from ever doing it again.

this could not be the final enormous brother. action picture star enormous Brother and BB8 have aready been commisioned and could be screened on the respective circumstances that they generally initiate i.e January and could. and likewise score have not been dropping too plenty, actually rankings are up while in comparison with final years coach. Channel 4 make fairly some money from enormous brother so i don't think of that significant Brother would be cancelled for an prolonged time. that is for the united kingdom version of massive Brother.

Yes, but never made the best one I heard about after I was too old. Call asking if Nora's there, hang up when you're told the wrong number. Call again, asking for Nora. Call the last time, saying you're Nora, asking if you have any messages.

Yes, it was my cousins idea. I can not remember the silly things we said but one man laugh with us and never took his phone off the hook......So, we called him back a lot . One night when I was bored I called him and asked him how come he did get mad at us and we talked for years. I even mailed him a picture of me........He was divorced and only had one child. Very educated so interesting to talk to. We never met he was a nice lonely senior. That was nice to think about....

Sure have....my sister and I used to call my Aunt & Uncle and ask if there refrigerator was running.
When they said yes we would tell them to run and catch it.
I look back now and see this was bad...at the time we sure got lots of laughs out it.
My Uncle & Aunt are both gone now....and as I think about this I know Sis & I woke them up many times with this question.

Once. When I was still a child...about 9 or 10. And it was the first and last, because I felt so guilty about it...I had let a new group of "friends" talk me into this.

When I was younger we use to call and ask if the person had Prince Albert in a can. And if they said they did we would tell them to let him out.
Prince Albert was a pipe tobacco that use to come in cans.

Years ago in the '50's when I was at a pajama party with my friends. We'd make calls like, Is your refrigerator running? Well, you'd better catch it. We also called our local grocer & asked him if he had Prince Albert in a can & if so, you'd better let him out. Stupid stuff like that.
