I'm 15, I'm bi, and i came out to my sister. Do not question my sexuality please, i am sure of it. But my sister was talking to one of her friends and they said that she said that she would rather me gay than bi. This confuses me because I would think if you did come out to a family member they would rather me be bi instead of gay so that there would be some hope for a straight relationship and a straight mirage. This is why I am confused. Why Would she want me to be completely gay? Please help.
Thanks,
Cam

Only your sis knows why. I find it hard to understand the bi orientation, but I'm not bi so you understand why I don't. I was gay before I got married to a woman and remained married for 11 years and we have two children. We've been divorced for 3 years. I came out when I met my partner. My partner and I have been together for nearly a year now. I'm not bi..(just conformed because I didn't know any better then.)....I'm gay and I think my family can understand easier by me being totally for the same sex. Maybe your sis feels the same way. She can understand one or the other but not both. However, it is your life, your orientation. Only you know and only you can help your sister to understand. That is if you care to explain it to her.
Siblings have the longest lasting relationships of all people. They are usually there from the moment of birth to the moment of death. Often through the death of parents. You and your sister sound like friends already. I hope you guys can see your way through this. With love, Clay

I don't know what your sister's reasoning behind this is, but I know quite a few people who seem to think that bisexual people are really flaky/fickle, because we "don't know if we like guys better or girls better" which is BS, as you know. Your sister has probably bought into these stereotypes. I'd tell her that you heard her say that and ask her why she feels that way.

Probably because homosexuality is generally more accepted in our society than bisexuality is. I think she's just worried that, by being bisexual, you may not be as accepted by your peers as you would be if you were completely gay.

Being bi-sexual is a type of hobby. Its not discarding heterosexuality, or clearly preferring a same sex partner over a different sex partner ~ so its not really a decision, it seems more like just "messing around" to be sexually aroused.

When you're hetero or homosexual ~ you have a preference to the exclusion of the alternative. Bi-sexual is like being a vegetarian that eats meat occasionally....no such thing.

I as quickly as examine the story of Sodom and Gomorrah and a passage in the Bible reported that God sent angels because of the fact the cries of the cities have been super....... if the cries have been super, then does that advise that there replace into injustice..... if homosexuals in that city had relationships or intercourse that replace into consensual, why might the cries be super?..... i think of that the individuals of Sodom and Gomorrah have been crying out to God because of the fact of injustices no longer purely sexually, yet bodily and so on. The act that the adult males made on the homestead with the angels replace into one in each of violence no longer of a sexual nature. that's what i think of on the subject of the story. as far as masturbation, the story you used, held a distinctive message to me..... i think of that Onan broke his accountability or promise to the female he went to be with. If i keep in mind properly, the female mandatory a baby (something a pair of custom or regulation). Onan purely used the female for sexual ability and broke his promise. i think of this is why he indignant God. thank you for the message, i in my opinion enjoyed it. God bless.

Well maybe, she would rather be fully commited to a sex than to be going back and forth between two sex's. It is just her personal style.. If it makes sense to her it shouldn't matter to other people. Just ask her(:

Many peple have the misconception that bisexuals are polygamous (they sleep around with both men and women).

I think things are still very black and white to some people. Either you like men, or you like women. Liking both, or going back and forth readily between the two confuses people. It seems indecisive and shifty.
