Five years of war in Iraq and six years of war in Afghanistan have taken a huge toll on our military and their families, and our troops and veterans need our support now more than ever. The sacrifices borne by our men and women in uniform have been enormous.
Proud Veteran and I'm against the War in Iraq!

My husband was a member of the National Guard for 21 years. Not really a veteran of a war but an honorable accomplishment in itself.

When I joined the U.S. Air force the Korean war ended three days after I joined, so I was very fortunate not to have had to go to any war. When I see all these young men and women that have given their life for my freedom it brings tears to my eyes and I am very thankful for them.

I would also like to add my "thank you" to those who have served and are serving.
My husband served in the Marines, my dad was in the National Guard and my grandfather served in the Germany army during WWII. If you drive by my house you will see the American flag and the Marine Corp flag flying every day.. weather permitting.
