I grew up in the 80's and like the music from than, but i really love swing music. my grandmothe used to tell me about dancing to it when she younger and how much fun it was. I also have a huge crush on Gene Kelly. My friends think i am weird, but i just love him. such a handsom man he was. I guess you can say i have a "old" soul.

I think those words are "Thank you".
Said to shop asistants, hospital attendants, neighbors and all the world may not seem much and can take an effort to remember but can bring a spot of brightness into a tiring day.

I'm not knockin' whites, but it looked like the congregation of prissy lookin' snowballs checkin' out a collection of weasels, losers, bozos and dumbells. I'm sure that others don't see it that way, but asll that tough talk just didn't hit me right coming from a bunch of wrinkly, balding old guys. Except for 'Mitt'....who gave me the impression of a guy that would do real well selling life insurance. I know the GOP could do better...or can they?

My dad was telling me that when he grew up in the 50's that the teachers would smoke in class and that even doctors would smoke. I am not trying to call my dad a lier, but where teachers really able to smoke in the class room. I watched a clip today on youtube of the day JFK was killed. the reporter was talking to a witness and there he was smoking a cig. You would never see that nowadays. thanks!

First annual Christmas tree lighting, I took my boy there. I expected Santa on a sleigh, hot chocolate stands and a big Christmas tree. None of that. At least it was snowing and there were singers. When they gave a few speeches saying next year it will be better and lit the (short) tree, my boy turned to me and asked, "Can we go home now?"

What is up with preps? In my 17 years I have been picked apart by every "clique" that I've come across. Yes, I know that me being Goth probibly has something to do with it, but why are they so judgemental? Why do they hate anyone and everyone that is different? Why do they look down upon people who don't have bleach-blonde hair, that don't have the annoying voice, and people who don't worship Paris Hilton and act stupid like they do. Does anyone here agree with me?

In so many surveys when it asks for your race it says stuff like "Hispanic" then "White (not-hispanic), African-American (not-hispanic). etc." Sometimes it will just say "Hispanic" and "Not-hispanic." Why do they do that?
