you realize there wouldn't be any women who ended up married to gay men, if those gay men weren't turned into self-loathing closet cases so desperate to try and "turn" straight that they married a woman in the first place, right?

A gay man who marries a woman (or lesbian who marries a man) because of religious pressure enters into a marriage based on false pretenses. He may not even consciously realize it- he may feel some genuine affection for her, and think that this plus a lot of effort could be the same thing as genuine romantic/sexual love. It isn't.

Then you end up with families that are traumatized when that person either cheats on or leaves their spouse, or when their emotional repression manifests itself in other ways - through abuse, or neglect, or emotional withdrawl, or alcoholism, or any number of other means people have of expressing or repressing the fact that they are gay, and are in a straight marriage that should never have happened in the first place.

What is being done about your human rights? Preventing such marriages from ever happening at all, and helping those who ended up in them leave, adjust, and get on with their lives. You are the emotional abuse victims of a religious system that emotionally cripples people, and by extension injures the people they are close to.

Don't vent your anger out on gay men, just he ones on the "down low". What they do is disgusting, and could easily spread STD's , so you should, complain to your lying scumbag of a husband, who doesn't have the balls to be a man, and tell you that he was gay, not the rest of the world. As for rights, once again life just sucks, there no law against being an asshole or a *****, or else we'd all be in jail. Just move on find some hot rich young guy and screw his brains out, maybe even right in front of your husband.

Talk to your bishop. If he won't help, go to the stake president. Go to LDS Family Services. Go to the prophet if you have to. But, I'd get out of that marriage ASAP.

No matter how dirty someone's mind is, or if they have even been sent out into spiritual prision for killing someone, and then are killed, he still loves 'em. Even if ur gay, he still loves ya, no matter what other people say. If you are in Hell, he still loves ya.

its actually better he cheated on you with a man. think about it he cheated because he is gay not because there was something wrong with you. you didn't drive him to cheat or be gay
