I knew one time that I had a few dollars and could not find them. Then I realized, maybe I accidentally threw it out. When I went to check, sure enough, it got mixed in with some papers I was tearing up. Phew!

I am not an immigrant legal or illegal. I don't have family in Mexico and I've never even been there. Don't people take history in school? There were Hispanic people here before the Anglos got here and they've never left. We are now Hispanic Americans.

The debate that seems to be ages old in this section:
"Why are people gay?"

If we had an answer to this question, a positive, proven, 100 percent accurate answer, would it really change anything?

are we really growing to tall for our hair.

as the hair on top of our heads, becomes less,

the hair in our ears, and nose becomes more.

or is it just sliding down, because it is too tired to stay where it belongs?

He was single for 10 years after his divorce before we met and some of his old habits just cant be broke. I have known him now for 5 years and married for 2 and he just refuses to budge. Biggest pet peeve is comes home from work at midnite and doesnt think he has to clean up so when I complained he just started sleeping on the sofa. what to do? I should explain he is addicted to the tv and falls asleep with it on most nites and his job is very dirty . when he was single he hardly ever slept in his bed , the couch was awfully dirty from too much use and got thrown away.

Don't! It will make you think you are dying of every disease known to man! ;-)

Years ago I worked for the state vocational rehabilitation agency and for 'fun' we used to look up symptomology in the Merck manual...again, not a wise thing to do if you don't want think you are terminal!

The wind has been blowing so hard, that for two days and two nights, large acorns and pinecones have been beating on the roof, can't take a walk. I put cotton in my ears to no avail, didn.t sleep a wink last night.

Any returning military or past military have any problems getting benefits from Uncle Sam?

My mom and I have been thinking about starting an organization for senior citizens that own pets. There are tons of health benefits like people that own pets live longer and have fewer hospitalizations. I have lots of research papers that prove this.

I know a lot of people don't get a dog because they can't afford it and they are afraid of what will happen to it once they pass away.

I want to start an origination to help seniors in my community afford the basics of pet care (vaccinations, food, spay and neuter, grooming, training etc) and provide adoptions if the person passes away.

I am trying to get a feel to see if people think this is a good idea. Please tell me what you think before I start working on corporate sponsorship.

Donya's question about Saturday matinees made me think of a show called "Cliffhangers' that was a summer replacement TV series sometime in the late 70's I think.

It featured three vignettes fashioned on the old Saturday serials.

One was a vampire segment with Michael Douri [sp?] who was a professor teaching at night and also a vampire

The other two I can't remember...I loved them! as they made me go back in time with the same features of the hero hanging with his life in jeopardy and the next week he never had fallen at all! lol

Does anyone besides me associate a certain flavor or food with nausea? The one flavor that I just can't tolerate is the mint wintergreen. I can't even smell it without feeling extremely sick! But everyone else I know loves it! Eeeeww! lol!
