Evidently you registered an HP printer at one time or another. I got the same email, and I have an HP laptop computer. It's nothing to be concerned about. When you registered your printer with HP, you gave them your email address. Just delete the message if you don't want to respond to it.

if it were from the printer printed out on paper, i'd say hp owes you paper. i don't like software like that, it reminds me of nagware. you already bought the printer so why should it even nag you about anything? i'd complain to hp.
i do not buy HP products primarily for the reason several years ago, HP outsourced their jobs to a foreighn country. when asked why they did not build a plant in the US, the VP gave an answer that Americans were not entitled to a job. HP builds the computers out of the country at an incredible reduced rate, and then imports them back into the US where they are resold to Americans at a much greater price that goes into the pocket of the company since they use cheap labor.

yup I have right before ending my first marriage. I even had a friend that was interested in helping me. But I was just really starved for attention, confused about my life and well a bit curious. I didn't want to end up hurting her in my confused state so I didn't allow anything to begin. She was sweet and if I was going to switch I would give her a call.

I wouldn't be concerned unless you are answering them. How personal does your printer get? Have you ever told it to behave? If all else fails unplug it and if the messages continue you have BIGGG problems.

At this point in life, I would gladly accept any kind of "personal" message from even my printer...but first, before reading, I would light a cigarette and hope for the best. :-)

Kay - did you get this in your email? If so, delete it. Then go to the HP website and click on 'contact us' and ask them about it.

That's funny! Actually, one of my favourite commercials concerns getting personal messages from your car...same thing.
Just another "cute" marketing ploy! (Although I REALLY enjoyed Min's answer!)
