I have a friend who is a devout Catholic and he has been in a loveless marriage for more years than I can remember ... he has his lover on the side and when I asked him why he doesn't divorce his wife he said that he will be excommunicated from the RC Church. However, he carries on with his lover as he says the Church does not allow a divorce but you can have your lover.

Is this true? If so, why? I find it all a bit hard to swallow (pardon the pun).

It's soooo annoying how people label all blacks as "cool" (flattering, but kinda annoying with all the stereotypes). Especially when non-Black girls say all proud, "My boyfriend's Black! He can kick your *** any time!" or like other stuff with people thinking that blacks are cool when it comes to music, clothes, sex, sports, comedy, and looks...or is that just me thinking this... =\

isn't that sad? they took care of you for 18 years, gave you good education, made sure you become a good citizen of the society, and shared to you their wisdom. in return, you throw them out in a nursing home when they become old and useless, and make the caregivers responsible for them. it just doesn't sound right.

Did they copy from each other, or were these developed independently? And how come china and japan have same weapons when they never met western powers until early modern period? Even native american indians have arrows when first discovered by europeans. And thats only talking of weapons, what about utensils, farming, clothing, medicine, concept of king, etc. Is there a universal or basic knowledge that is held by people whereever they are?

im black, but i always feel uncomfortable around some black people..not all..just a specific kind..the ones who thinks if its not rap then its for white people, wear their jeans hanging off their ***, use alot of slang, the ones who would rather spend $200 on sneakers before paying their rent...i use to go to school with those and they would always treat me different and id feel really uncomfortable..and today at school i asked one of them a question and you could cut the tension with a knife..it was really akward..i just dont like them..i went to school with a bunch of them last year and i swear everything that came out of their mouth either involved sneakers or something about LES (a gang)..is this normal..the way i feel?

I know this is a stupid question. I believe that only god might be able to answer this but to bad he can't. I feel so down when I think about this all the time but in his eyes were all brothers and sisters. But does he hate people like me because I'm different. Does he hate people who hate people like me. I don't know what else to day but I literary want to cry everytime I think about it. What do you think?

ok so im stuck, theres this girl that i like and weve been talking for a month or 2 now. shes been in sum bad relationships so i try to keep my distance, i dont want her to think im trying to get her back in another relationship. i see her twice a week when we go clubbing and we talk thru out the weekdays. heres the thing i always see myself going to her like approaching her and calling her. she does approach me but not as much as i do, plus i am more of the aggresser. i really want to call her, but then again i dont want to, i dont want it to seem as though im constantly bugging her, shes as kids and all so am i doing to much. i know im still in the friend zone which is fine with me cuz i told her we'd move at her pace. shud i call, wud u?

What's the point of posting a question asking for OPINION but then blocked anyone who doesn't agree. Doesn't the person realise that they will end up having no one being able to answer their question at all? Or they want that to happen so they can say - No one like them or that they are discriminated against because they have a disability? We are all here trying to help each other by answering and supporting each other. But that does not mean we have to always agree. Isn't that the way it should be?

We have an elderly neighbor, who is disabled and does not have any resources. Is it possible to find a free elderly transportation system in NJ (New Brunswick)? She needs to see her doctor and she can barely walk. She lives alone and her family does not provide care.

cause they are often talk too loud around people with disabilities, they seem to be not frighten by people with mild or moderate disabilities because they are hinder and they can't necessarily fully function as normal people do.i think people with without disabiliites ARE monsters and they scare me.
