I'm very well aware of the definitions of "bubba". But, where I'm from (and still live), "bubba" is as disparaging to white people as "n*gger" is to black people. BUT... Around here, many of us (both blacks and whites) say both words without any racist motivation. (I guess you could say that it's our way of "kicking racism in its a*s, if you know what I mean.) I'm not promoting the use of either of these words.... I'm just being honest. I don't LIKE either. But I won't lie and say that I don't speak them.

I don't care of Bubba and I really don't care for DOG. The most intelligent beings on the planet and people refer to each other as DOGS-That's Stupid!
I have never used those terms towards anyone. If we can't show more respect for each other then that, it only proves we haven't grown up yet!

It reminds me of a hillbilly and Forest Gump. I invented a character named "Bubba Shrimp" after that movie and the shrimp guy.

Not really. It reminds me of two things: Blubber and bubblegum. So every time I hear the game Bubba, I think of a really chubby guy who walks around snapping pink gum.
