I have a black goldfish that we are naming. I thought it would be cute to name him Feeshay (Fishy...get it?) Most people have said they find it amusing but my boyfriend is worried that some african american people might think of it as racist. I think the color of the fish shouldn't matter because I'd name a orange one Feeshay too.

We did have a white mouse name Trash (White trash...haha) but we are white so everybody just thought it was kinda cute.

I know it's a cheesy pun and isn't meant to be hilarious. I just want to know if you would be offended if a white girl named her black fish Feeshay.

I'll turn 50 next month. I'm not bothered in the least but everywhere I look I'm being told I will suddenly turn old and decrepid!

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 years and he has never had a threesome and neither have I, we are in love. I have been trying to talk him into it for a long time and he just now agreed to it. But the problem is that since he's never had it before I dont know if he will change afterwards, like what if he wants it all the time? what if he wants her more than me? Another semester is about to begin and once again I am applying for scholarships financial aid to pay for the exorbitant tuition and book fees. Everytime I do a scholarship or grant search it always kind of gets under my skin that there are NUMEROUS opportunities available to ONLY one race/ethnicity or another...and nothing directed exclusively for mine. I don't mean to be whining. I truly feel like I'm being slighted and like I'm the victim of a societal double standard. What do you think? Am I alone on this? What do you think can possibly be done to make scholarship/grant opportunites available for everyone to qualify for?

They have special scholarships for black people only.They have special scolorships for homosexuals only.They have BET black television.What if there were white only scholarships or hetrosexual only ones?What if there were WET white televison?That would be discrimination.Why not the same both ways around?

Not too long ago, HR made me go through some sensitivity training; it wasn't too bad so now I'm trying my best to be a bit more sensitive of others.

Anyway, as this is fresh on my mind, I approached a black female co-worker to apologize about all the white people's crimes, like slavery, discrimination, etc... But she kind of just looked at me weird as if I were balancing a Buick on top of my d*ck.

Later, I felt mad about it and I thought about contacting HR and getting her fired. Its like I went through that training for nothing. I went back and called her racially insensitive to me and all my white ancestors, and she just busted out laughing, further humiliating me.

My question is, should I pass out flyers in everyones office mailbox that she's a racist? I also have a bit of dirt on her, I feel she doesn't dress appropriately enough for work, and I think its very offensive!

people who think for, for any reason at all, that homosexuality is unnatural and morally wrong, are demonized and labeled as homophobes, bigots, and every other name in the book? If they want to be accepted for who they are and not have people try to change the way they are then why can't they do the same for others?
