X-RAY and JITTERBUG said it best.
Concisely, reverse discrimination does not exist, but the effect of having to catch up after 400 years of oppression is prevalent.
Our problems aren't going to be resolved after 142 years of PHYSICAL LIBERATION and 47-52 years of LEGAL LIBERATION.

I think this is the 3rd time this has been asked today. If you type in reverse discrimination in the search bar you will find PLENTY of info on the exact same topic
Hold please: I'm going to copy & paste one of my MANY other responses to this same question.
Edit: ok here it is:
This question gets asked at least once a day. It really should be common sense. White culture, entertainment, media is mainstream. Is it such a bad thing for a culture to want to learn about THEIR culture, and see ppl who look like them on TV in positive roles?
And why does it matter? There are also stations for hispanics, & asians & it doesn't bother me one bit. Sometimes I find myself watching the spanish channel & asian channel b/c culturally you can learn alot.
I don't hear you saying there aren't ENOUGH minorities on TV & why is that? Have you ever watched a minority based show? Have you read a book by a minority? Yet, minorities watch shows about Caucasians everyday. We learn about Caucasian history everyday. So why don't you hear any minorities complaining about that?
B/c nobody cares but ppl who have racist attitudes

"White" television already exists. It's mainstream. When a type of anything is mainstream there is no need for designation. Everything else is shown second to mainstream, thus groups feeling compelled to step forward with something of their own. It's not okay but it is the truth. Your question would make sense if every race was treated the same, the fact of the matter is that every race isn't.

Just factor in history and it will clear up for you. Look at what the white immigrants did -- killed Indians and stole land. Enslaved Africans. Look at what happened to the Indians and Africans, and analyze the consequences. If someone is handicapped because of something you did, you give them a headstart so that the race will be fair.

There is plenty of reverse discrimination in all aspects of life - until you actually live with a different race or culture for years of your life you may not ever know the meaning of being the minority. And yes I am white. Yet I am still trying to figure out the abbv NAACP because if you call someone colored the blow up in your face like you just called their momma a knappy headed hoe or something. Just an observation.

they have scholarships for black people who NEED them. not just random black people. and there are white people on BET as well ( i.e Robin Thicke). They create these funds and programs because they are for ethnic/ cultural minorities. Since white people are not considered to be minorities, some people believe the funds/ programs should go towards people that are.

There are white scholarships, you have to be at least 50percent white. Woo hoo for me! This dam question keeps getting asked over and over and over again. Im sick of it! This is such a NON issue. You are not being discriminated against, you make up most of the dam population in America. Quit your yappin

because white people/white culture still enjoy cultural dominance and (on the whole) greater wealth, or at least greater access to resources.
There are plenty of scholarships for straight white people - they just get billed differently - with a wink and a nudge.

What exactly is "reverse discrimination"? I wasn't aware that discrimination had a direction & that one or the other was any less wrong....
