thoughts that scream: "Why would anyone ever love me?"
a sad thought
i know we all aren't ugly.
but its a bad feeling to think about.

Its just one of those human things, we all at one stage are comparing ourselves to others and the people you are comparing yourself tp are looking at you going OMG i so wish I looked like that. its a never ending cycle of self doubt. know this tho you are who you are, that will never change and I think you are exceptionally beautiful.

What is ugly? What is unattractive? As they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Any person, no matter how good looking and famous, will have people who think he/she is beautiful and people who don't. This is why you should not try to make yourself measure up to anyone's expectations but your own. In the end, all you can be is yourself and if someone thinks you're unattractive, that is his/her opinion and nothing more, because there will also be someone who does not think you're unattractive.
If YOU feel unattractive to YOURSELF, then maybe there are some things you need to change about yourself? Take an honest look at yourself or ask a trusted friend for his/her opinion. If this does not help, try a different haircut or different clothes or lose some weight or gain some weight or grow facial hair or shave off facial hair--experiment until you find something you really like.
Also, do things to make yourself more knowledgable and interesting. Read, travel, learn, experience. Because it's your personality which makes you more interesting and attractive to people, too. It also has the added advantage of increasing your self-esteem. Good luck and stop telling yourself you're ugly! That won't help at all! Start telling yourself you're NOT ugly and it will make you more confident and confidence can be attractive as well.

Everyone is self conscious to a degree. There are days when hate looking in the mirror. I know that I am not beautiful but somebody I care about told me once that I grow on people because I am charming, charismatic and a shocking flirt. I hold onto that because I will still be the same person even when I am 80.. beauty fades

Every day. But it is important to distinguish between unattractive (which I have to acknowledge) and ugly, which includes a more active component, a style and attitude. That is, unattractiveness can be documented by a camera, but only actual presence can reveal how ugly a person is.
I'm a fat old witch, and no one who is honest could call me attractive. But I am only rarely ugly, as when I am confronted by injustice or cruelty. That you do NOT want to see!!!

Yea man, I amm not too good looking also.
But God has made us how we are and we should be thankful. We should be thankful that we are not missing a arm or leg, we have our vision, our voice, our sense of hearing. Some people don't even have those. When we look at people like those, our beauty is meaningless and thinking about it is selfish.
Some people are good looking, some are not. You just have to find the one that finds you beautiful - and that is all you need.
I am sure your not that bad.
P.S. This is in the Gay section, but just in case anyone was wondering...I'm not gay. :)

Sometimes we feel ugly when we are rejected or when someone points out our flaws. I know that I have constantly battled that fight.
however there is that old saying never judge a book by its cover.
Remember looks are here today gone tomorrow, but the human spirit continues everyday.

I think everyone has had those screaming thoughts at one time or another, I know I have, and I can't really tell you why either, but I started replacing those "i'm ugly" thoughts with more positive ones, and as wierdly stupid as it sounds it actually worked, i think i'm pretty again lol

i feel ugly sometimes. i'll even avoid looking in the mirror because i feel so bad sometimes. others insist that i'm hot, but sometimes, i dont feel comfortable with myself. that's when i know that something has to change. not anything drastic, like getting cosmetic surgery or anything. maybe a new hairstyle or some makeup, and i feel better.
