Why is it that every year at Xmas we are so busy trying to fit it all in? I mean the lines at the local pharmacy today was insane! Malls are at their limits! Friends are blogging how overwhelmed they are with obligations, buying, finances I am not particularly religious person at all, but this is not what the season is all about!

Christmas over the years has become boring - cos it is so hyped up and sooooo commercialised that people dont care about the true meaning of christmas. It is not a time to see what presents we have but a time to remember (if it is the real date - which according to Atheists isnt as it is a date they used to feast etc) Jesus's birth.

Why is it sooooo commercialised?

Which version of the bible do most of the Christians follow...... and in Quran which only one book it has no other version why....Do yu think it is the word of God..... it says that jesus is the prophet and what do you have to say about that..... And please choose your facts...

I just can't. I've worn crosses, I've been to church, I've been to youth group, I've talked about him daily, I've prayed, I've asked for help, I've read the bible numerous times..

But no matter ALL of this I can't seem to believe in him. I would love to, I adore the idea of a higher being. But no matter how hard I try to believe it just never works.

Anyone know why? Or feel the same way?

I will attempt to refrain from stirring the pot too, much. Is anyone else of like-mind. Shouldn't there be a cease-fire as others-suggests, if we can't be an example for our Government(s), who will. Your either with me, sorry....there I go again.....Peace, and good-will good Enquirers and Enquirees. Truce? Cease-fire? Warm-Fuzzies? All/none of the above? Etc.?

If Jesus was a jew, then why are christians following him? As an atheist, i laugh when christians mention Jesus as their saviour as he only came here to help the jews. Not once does he mention christianity - and yet people dont want to listen. And today, christians call him their God

I´m so bored and desperate and with nothing to do. On top of that I have not seen my 5 yr old daughter daughter in days since her dad basically kidnapped her from me, he was supposed to bring her on Saturday but he hasnt and I called him and he is ignoring me and is not gonna bring her back to me, i´m so desperate and cant have a good time or concencentrate on anything else...what can I do to make myself feel better?...plus, me and my family here at home dont celebrate so we arent gonna do anything, not a get together family reunion or anything planned..and I have nowhere to go, i havent made plans with my friends since it seems like they´re just gonna spend Christmas at home with their families..what can I do to have some fun? i dont wanna be here all night stuck all night bored in the computer . what can i do?....

Just to set things straight before you begin, THIS IS ABOUT YOU NOT ME. I have my ideas about Christ and Salvation and I'm not really asking these questions to be persuaded one way or another . I'm just curious as to what you believe about these topics and learn from them. So, think, share, and have fun:-)


Here we go, Your thoughts on...

1. Once saved always saved?or was salvation never truly accepted from the start, if one abandons their faith in Christ later on.

2. Is it possible for a man to become hated by God himself(as seems to be in the case of Lucifer), if the man completely rejects him. Or does God alway Love his creation no matter what?
(Basically on this one, I'm wondering where do you think God draws the line between "I hate your actions and I hate You").

3. The relationship b/w God and Satan, and Christ's teaching about loving one's enemy?

4. Blashemy. How does one know if they had committed it. If one has, are they damned to eternal separation from God?
