Acts 11:26
And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
Acts 26:28
Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.
1 Peter 4:16
Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
Jesus was God
EDIT: 1 Timothy 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: GOD was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

yes Jesus was a Jew but He came to save all. He died on the cross for the Jews and the non-Jews. Christian is mentioned in the bible, you would know that if you read it and you shouldn't say things that you don't know what you are talking about. Christians weren't called Christians until after the death and Resurrection of Jesus. Jesus came to the world to die for everyone's sins including yours. It is up to us rather or not we choose to accept Him. Most of the Jews are still waiting for the Messiah, they don't realize that He has already came.

you laugh??? you don't even know the whole truth...it sounds like you never did any kind of studying of this subject because you are way off. and yet you have the arrogance to talk like your einstien on the subject? you probably live on every word that comes from other people that sounds good right? but do you want to bet eternity on that? Jesus is the savior of the world! you live your life according to foolish assumptions that you came from non-intelligence, but how do you explain that you are a creation so complex and incredible in design and fuction and purpose? and to top it off what about your heart, thoughts, conscience and love for people? are those just accidents too. what you need to realize is that everyone will acknowledge God in the end. there will be absolutely no doubt that He exists. you should not think that christians are dumb, but that if you can't really listen and consider what someone says then you are dumb.

Jesus did not come to help the jews or any one else in particular for that matter. He was first of all a child whose family had to take him and flee for their lives to Egypt where he attended the equivelent of a private school, in a community of people called the Essenes. Their he was taught spiritual insight and it is this insight he wanted to teach to anyone who had ears to hear and sense to understand. Christianity on the other hand was a product of an institution that wanted to spread a message to people using his name. It was of course men who led the institution and they wanted power to themselves and set about getting it by building up what we know today as the Church. So your an athiest hey! well each to their own I say, but if Jesus had his way, there would be no church, but what he taught was real, and the mystery of it lies out there and also within you and me, dont close your mind to all thing mysterious, close your mind to earthly knowledge for it will not serve you after this life, open your mind and heart to what is within you, your very essence, your soul, and the great power that flows through you and the universe, the invention of you as a human being and everything about you is the design of something and that something deserves respect, whatever it is. Be it God or some almighty power beyond your imagination, dont knock it, this power is within you, respect it!

Jesus was Jewish by birth and had to be in order to be put to death on a Roman cross, fool.
He did not mention Christianity because it was not around then, it was named such in rememberance of Christ.
He did not come to "help" the Jews, he came to redeem all sinners and lead them in His path of forgiveness and love.
He is not only my Saviour but yours whether you choose to acknowledge this or not. He died for your sins and so you are clean in the eyes of His Father just as I am and it doesn't matter that with your silliness you choose to denounce Him and what He has done for you.
I suggest re-reading your Bible and learning a bit more before making blanket statements that are not only foolish but also show why anti-thesists are mostly ignorant.

They believe that Christ was the Son of God, the one born without sin. Who opened the gates of heaven. Jews believe that he hasn't come yet while Christians do. Judaism came before Christianity.

err im an atheist too so maybe not the best person to answer this but, he was the founder of christianity so of course he wouldnt mention a religion that didnt exist yet. he taught people a way of life and these people later decided to start a religion on his teachings which branched of from judaism. jews accept that jesus existed too they just think he was a prophet not god.

If you studied the Bible, you would know that Jesus came for all humanity--it was the Jews who believed He only came for them (and they rejected Him anyway for the most part). He didn't mention Christianity b/c he wasn't risen again yet.
