After answering a question today related to the Atheist Agenda, and after doing some research, this question popped into my head & I turned to Y!A R&Sers in seeking the answer. So, good people, what is your answer & why?

Best Answer will be awarded to a thought provoking answer (which are much appreciated), whereas thoughtless drivel will be ignored (or thumbs-downed I guess). Thank you very much!

here's my analogy of it:

look at the news, to see it's a system-attic chaotic mess

look at the evidence, to see what's evident in Galatians 3

Problem: Law does more harm than good
Solution: Grace does good only, never harms

He taketh away the first,
that he may establish the second.

Law: press DELETE to take away
Grace: press SAVE to e-stablish

Grace --> Mercy ---> Peace with you all. Amen.

what's your analogy of the problem and solution to it?

I've noticed that a lot of Mormons get frustrated when they find that non-latter day Christians and non-Christians don't think they believe in the same Jesus. But now I've really started to wonder why that is because Mormons happen to think exactly the same thing of non-Mormons don't they? Mormons I'm looking for answers from you especially!

Don't Mormons believe that no one is actually saved unless they are Mormon? Isn't that why they call themselves by a different name so as to show the difference between them and other Christians and churches?

So why do they care about "non-Mormon Christians" accepting them as Christian? Or do they? In my experience that seems to be what I have found.

Scientific Paganism. Your Brain is God.

These are Dr. Leary's ideas, yet every time I bring him up as a possible Prophet for the New Aeon he's rejected because he was a drug fiend and a hedonist. Freud was a Drug Fiend too, do you reject psychiatry? Do you also reject Tesla's ideas because of his personal shortcomings? (which were eerily similar to Leary's) How Scientific are you if you reject an idea without testing it because of it's source?

You have no question as to what to get them... I hate buying presents for peope that you have to ponder for hours, even days.... what will make them happy.. Gift cards are great in that situation., but if you feel that is the only option then maybe they don't deserve a gift after all..?????

it's stupid i mean they can't really want equality.. people aren't equal. there'd be mayhem, disabled ppl would be made to walk up stairs and pregnant and old ppl would have to stand on the bus. women would be on the front line and men would be giving birth...... when will people learn that us not being equal is a good thing!

I asked the question on why more white people don't take classes on racism while in college. Someone then asked me why I singled out white people. Firstly, history speaks for itself. Secondly, her response speaks to her ignorance and need for the class. She also said something about her generation not having anything to do with what went on during slavery. Well, I'm afraid that racism took place much more recent than the slavery period. I don't know how old she, but I can see why she doesn't want to be held accountable for her ancestor's actions. Black folks certainly are having to live with their ancestor's legacy. This is what is meant by "supreme thinking."

for eating the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, if they did not have the knowledge of good and evil to know it was a sin to eat it?

Yes, God told them not to--but again, if they didn't know right from wrong, how is this sinning? And why would it affect me?

Not to mention The Angels, Jesus and the Holy Spirit? The concept of a Trinity being one true God seems disingenuous at best.

Without looking up the verse and strictly by memory, it says, "Gpd drove Adam and Eve from the Garden in his Fury.
So that will be a Plymouth. (well, actually a lower case F is used in fury)

This a response to perpetuate the Moses and te Ark question.

I have read and re-read the Holy Bible...every time I get to the part about Peter going to Rome, I read the name Paul instead of Peter. I thought Peter stayed in Israel with his wife and family...Paul was the Roman citizen so was allowed to approach Cesar himself.

Good Morning one and all. A question came to me this morning as the how do we personally define God? I personally believe God works differently in everyone's life and has a personally relationship with each person, I thought it would be fun and a great learning tool to discuss our personal perception of God. For this discussion, please lets not use Biblical Text but our own understand of Who and what God is to each of us.

Has something like this happened to you? It is often most referred to in a negative sense by disbelievers and a positive by believers....But what about the opposite to this?

I have had experiences, not where I have been so down and stayed there that I thought god did not care (I suppose I am kind of agnostic, mostly, just to clarify) But where I have just for example argued for several hours about how god does not exist etc…. and then gone and had something really amazingly great happen that has changed my life forever…. It seems to me that most of these experiences are apparently totally random, and to link one to another is almost looking for something that is not there? But I suppose not in all cases….

Tell me about your experiences, about how you gained or lost your faith though a life changing experience, and how you linked it to god or a lack of god?
