God is a concept, invented by man, symbolizing the apotheosis of human excellence. But this concept has no ontological existence and is only a symbol of what man could be at his moral best and materialistically most powerful. Unfortunately, early religions got this all wrong and insisted that god is real and does a lot of magic. This has become the simple-minded child's conception of god which most folks are now stuck with and fight wars over, etc.. Too bad. A useful symbol has been lost via its own reification.

I don't define an objective idea of God, because none exists.
The presence of God/the creator, the highest power...whatever...pick a label, is felt by individuals and is a purely individual experience. Religion has tried to steal that experience from us by defining God for us.
Personally, I experience god, as you call it, continually. There is no separating yourself from it, even for a moment. It's there, if you just let it in. *or allow it to wake up, would be a better word*.

Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Perfect. Let's highlight these:
Omnipotent: All-knowing. In other words, everything has always and will always work according to God's designs. There is no need for "fallen theology", redemption or salvation because everything has always been according to God's will. God doesn't make mistakes.
Omnipresent: God is within everything, around everything, and exists as part of everything. No one has ever been or could ever be "apart from God". This is just a state of mind (differentiation). There is no need to "return to God" because God has been with you all along.
Perfect: God is without faults. This means that an angered God, vengeful God, and a judging God are absurd. God is unconditional love.

God is not limited and there is nothing God cannot do. His nature is so complex that He sent Jesus to explain Him. God knew we could only comprehend Him in a person. God is life and that alone is too enormous to comprehend. God speaks everything into existence and that is not understandable power. We understand electricity. We understand a Hurricane. The power of God is unlimited. Look at the universe and see His power. As we read the gospel accounts of the ministry of Christ and what Christ did it becomes easier for us to understand what God is like, but then you hear His voice or feel His presence and everything changes. In His presence we change. His voice is never forgotten. We are commanded to Study His Word because He wants us to know Him. From Genesis to Revelation it is all about Jesus Christ, because in Jesus we know God and that is how God wants it. The Bible says God is Spirit and consuming fire. Flesh does not get close to consuming fire so He sent Jesus so we can draw close to Him in Christ. And because we have Christ we have His Holy Spirit within us. So within us is both Christ and God via the Holy Spirit because all three are One. God just made a way so He could live within us.
I feel like David when he said:
I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart; and I will glorify thy name for ever more. For great is thy mercy toward me: and you have delivered my soul from the lowest hell.

A very good question. God bless you.
Well, God is the One behind every very thing which happens in my life. He is the One Who can best deal with me since it was Him Who created me. He does every thing for my good. Think about a mother and her baby , that is just 1\10 of God's love to us.
Good Luck!!

Throughout my life he has been my Protector. I see him in all who have helped me through the hard times and Blessed the good times. I see Him in all His Glory in every sunrise and sunset as he paints the sky in ever changing wonders. I see Him in every Bird that takes to flight, in every tree and flower that blooms. I feel his touch in a summer breeze. I see him in the smile of every child. I can feel His presence in your letter!
I can feel His presence, how, while I am writing!
He is always with us, but, some refuse to see, or hear!
This is something that should be Joyous, but is Sad!

I believe that God is everything. He is "is". I think He is all of the energy and forces in the universe. That's talking literally though. In a graspable sort of way, I think he is the perfect father.

The creative force that initiated the formation of the universe.
He/she/it allowed me to evolve a brain, and in gratitude, I should use it when making choices about my life.
