justify any lies they tell that cause others pain? Do you believe that they must really believe in LIES to get them by?
Do you think they are still spiritual?
What type of person do you think does these things?
What is the best way to be non judging and forgiving for those that claim to live in the light but are really insincere?

what would you think?

I'll put out the Gog/Magog war for example. Ezekiel 38-39. Many nations (Muslim ones by todays borders) come to strike Israel down, and are defeated horribly by many "natural" things such as torrential rains, hail, and burning sulfur.

What would be your thoughts, knowing that prophecy from the Bible was fulfilled? Would it change your outlook? Strengthen it?

I went to the website for the Church of Satan as I didn't know a lot about Satanism and found it to be very interesting. There are a lot of misconceptions about Satanists. I think that people are just frightened due to associations. Are you interested in understanding Satanists better? I'm happy that I do now. All thoughts welcome. Namaste

BTW, if you don't know already, Satanists do not worship Satan.

Do all sperms and eggs have a soul too? is it aquired when sperms and egg combine or at birth or sometime in between? Does God have an indefinite supply of new souls or does he/she create one, as needed? Can God ever run out of souls?

Of course, the only commongrounds Atheists share is a disbeleif in a God. But, without any moral codes instilled upon you by religion, I would like to know how most Atheists feel about this topic.

(I'm Pro-Choice, by the way)

I'm watching Oprah right now and she is doing a show on polygamy. Further, I've always been intrigued by the subject. I feel that it should not be criminal and it a bunch of women want to share one man, then more men for me! However, I would be disappointed if my husband came to me and said he wanted to life a polygamist lifestyle.

So, how do you all feel?!!!

Please do not jump to conclusions on this one. Let's leave God and his word out of this question right now. Why do I not hear any homosexuals addressing some logical issues such as:

1. What about the fact that this lifestyle for men does severe damage to the body, and I won't say where but it's serious damage that is known to occur. Nobody addresses this or why this should be covered by insurance?

2. What about kids growing up for instance with two males and no mommy? Didn't we hear a few years ago the importance of breast feeding? How will this happen? Will straight kids get confused and suicidal like gays now claim "gay children" get suicidal from being raised in Christian homes?

3. Okay so your state votes to legalize marriage, could you explain why church has to be involved in something that is obviously not approved in the bible and how you are being fair in this regard or even honoring other people's beliefs like you want your beliefs honored or respected?

I come from a Baptist background, but was kicked out of their church when they found out I went to a Charismatic church where I learned to speak in tongues. In the Charismatic church I eventually came to be uncomfortable when people were dancing like disco around me, or a pastor would say spiritual jokes that I don't think God would aprove of, so I stopped going there. My friend is Catholic, but I do NOT agree with worshipping Mary, saints and all that stuff. Jesus is the only way to God and we should only pray to Him, for He is the one who has ever been a man who is God!

So I was wondering which denomination are you and why?

in such moments did you ever think that you should have been a believer??
just a curiosity of mine.....let me know your opinions......cheers

Apparently, according to someone who I never thought would be so uppity about "gender issues", it would literally be "child abuse" to dress a little boy in a princess costume for a Halloween party.

See, this 2 year old boy is friends with a 5 year old girl who is also going to be a princess for the party, so it might be cute and of course a bit funny to also dress him up as a princess so that they could be princesses together.

Would THAT be "abusive" to the child? I mean, it's Halloween... it's a COSTUME, for goodness sakes.

Okay, yeah. Disclaimer. Atheists, I get it. There is no God, so that won't happen. However, a lot of you guys have read the bible, so I can gain some valuable insight from anyone.

Honestly, I think that a lot of the so-called "word of god" has been corrupted. NOT so much that it's message can't be followed, but I believe some parts were altered and fooled with to promote man's purpose more than God's. So, i tend to take a lot of the things I'm told with a grain of salt. My dad says that's smart, but my religion says that's "apostate". Hm... what to do?

I use to be very faithful in prayer, and it seemed like I was getting closer to God. Then, I started feeling like I being honest or sincere enough in prayer and it was a major barrier for me. Now, it has been a week, and I still haven't said any organized type of prayer.
