how do you celebrate st. patricks day?

I wear green. I'm the only person in my department with any Irish ancestry, so I have to represent.

It`s my wedding anniversary on St Patricks` Day. So I bet you can guess how I will celebrate it!

I wear a little green, try to go to church, make a ton of soda bread (the recipe came from ireland with my relatives tons of years ago) and listen to irish music
I also play "leprechaun" for the 3 kids in the house and leave them little presents on their spot at the kitchen table

I'm Irish and we have a day off work and we get together with friends and go to the pub and / or watch the parade at home or on tv. Every city in Ireland has a parade and the biggest one is in Dublin. Great fun.Most everyone wears green and some dye their hair/paint their faces, its a big party day.
By the way clover isnt Irish at all...its the shamrock not the clover...the two have nothing in common other than they are weeds. The clover means nothing to Irish culture, its the Shamrock.

You can wear green outfits, decorate with shamrocks, clovers, leprachuans and things like that. You don't necessarily have to drink, but have a mug with St. Partick's Day on it for fun.

I wear a lot of green, listen to Celtic music, cook a lot of green foods and bake a lot of green deserts, and basically just celebrate my heritage! ;]
