Nonreligious people get married too, ya know.
Why should Religous people have any say in it?
Did they Invent marriage?
I think that our evolutionary predecessors were probably bound couples even before Politics and Religions were invented.

Colossians 3:11
Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.
Colossians 3:10-12 (in Context) Colossians 3 (Whole Chapter)
"Christ is all, and is in all, Christ." transcends all barriers and unifies people from all cultures, races and nations. Such distinctions are no longer significant, Christ alone matters (Gal. 3:28 as well) so why the Mark, when this scripture clearly says that Cjrist loves every nation, every people?
what about the war in heaven?

airlines of the day? I flew in a DC-7 when I was a kid. And I think other than flying in a turbo-prop that was the last time. I think it was either TWA or Pan-Am.

Even though the "Rapture" isn't called by that name in the Bible, it is mentioned. I asked a question recently and was told that the Bible never says anything about it. If you believe that to be true, explain to me Matthew 24:36-43.

But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but my father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will be the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.

I'm not trying to force anyone to believe anything. That's between you and God. But it is written in the Bible.

Do the New and emproved Jehovah's Witnesses just disfellowship the ones that have been there for a long time and refuse to ascribe to the New Theology?
Are they just kicked out and shunned and silenced?

Drink alchohol? This is a weird subject. I choose not to drink. I used to drink before knew Jesus, but now i know I shouldn't. But people says: the bible says don't be drunk, not don't drink. But the bible also says not to make your brother stumble. Meaning people are watching me. "well if she can do it why can't I". And the bible says to be the light of the world. How can i witness with a beer in my hand?
So, christians, what do you think of drinking?

when God's word is clear about that. Salvation is a "gift, not by works, lest any man should boast."

Does that mean that those who are trying to earn their Salvation will miss the boat entirely?

First, please do not ask me why I want to be back with this guy....but, there was this guy I was involved with and in love with lied to me about everything. Basically he had a gf. I had prayed 2 God for something like this to never happen to me again but it did.

I am so depressed and miserable...I hate my life and really don't serve a purpose on earth. I ask God to help me get over him and to get him back but instead God let's him get away with everything and continues to let me hurt.

Why?? The more I pray the more I see this guy is happier and walks away scott free.
