I can't be sure of what I'll be doing, as the future is often up for grabs. But if I was allowed to choose, I know I'd be celebrating Yule with my husband, cats and (hopefully!) the child I want to conceive sometime in the next year. (He/She will be about four years old by December 21, 2012.)

Edit: Although, I do have to say, I don't think of myself as an idiot and I certainly don't think there's anything to the Mayan calendar. ;) I think a lot of people are going to feel very foolish on December 22, 2012, the same way they were feeling foolish on January 2, 2000. (Remember the Y2K nonsense?)

If I'm still breathing by then, I'll worry about what to do when I get up that day. And the kind of "idiots" who answer your question just want the easy points (like me).

I think I'll be planing a "boy are you an idiot party" for those that think the Mayan calender is a creditable source of information.

Sorry the term "idiot" is a bit offensive, but really, the Mayans did not predict their own society's collapse why would they be right about this?

You know what? I don't care if the Mayans are a reliable source of prophecy or not. An excuse is an excuse.

End of the world party!!! And if by some strange coincidence the world actually DOES end and none of us have to deal with the hangovers... hey, bonus! *grins*

Celebrating Yule. Also, I want to correct Jolly Roger by informing him that the Mayan calendar DID predict the downfall of the Mayan empire.

Celebrating Yule, and waiting for my birthday the next day...

Although, since we are supposed to have more active and larger solar storms that year, we may have northern lights that night, in which case, I'll be watching those...

Oh, and waiting for the end of the mayan era, of course! ^__^
