I used to love electric train sets.

Then, when I got a little older, videogames.

Dirt. Water. Sticks. Bugs ~ and I played with them, I didn't squish them. *hehe* The praying mantis fascinated me. What an intelligent and attentive creature sho nuff.

Anything outdoors or indoors that required creativity and thought. Manufactured 'toys' never held my attention long.

Ooh. Ooh. Just remembered something really fun. I used to turn my bike upside down, load the fender with rocks, spin the wheel hard and watch the rocks shoot out like pop corn. Yep. Yep. Fun.

When I grew up my parents didn't have much like children of today. I had one baby doll that I played with for hours, dressing her with old rags and pretending they were beautiful gowns. Our neighbors had a beautiful Collie dog name Queen that I used to put my old tattered nightgowns on and free samples of lipstick from the Fuller Brush man. I had to have a vivid imagination; I still do!

My brother & his friends. We'd camp; go to the dump & collect old bottles; play chicken on each others' backs; sleep out under the stars; lay in the yard & he'd teach me about the different constellations. He died a few years ago. He was the social one & I'd hang out with him & his groupies.
