We won't do ourselves in for maybe another 50 to 100 years. If it goes any longer than that I would be surprised.

I have no plans to go out tonight...but only because the temperature dropped 30 degrees in the last hour here....brrrrrr, I hate cold!

To answer your question seriously, even though I don't think you're serious (smile), perhaps...it would only take one angry, crazy person with his finger on a nuke to start the war to end all wars...and if we don't stop polluting the environment, none of us will be able to breathe in about 30 years or so. ...and as a Christian, I believe God could say "enough" at any time!

According to bestselling author Zecharia Sitchin, the term "the Lord's day" is of Sumerian origin. Their "Lord" was a comet-like planet that comes in our vicinity every 3,600 years. The last time, its gravity stopped the earth's rotation, so Joshua said the sun stood still. By my calculations, this planet may be expected anytime from now to 2207. If one of its moons hits us directly, that's the end for us. Otherwise, we can expect just meteor showers and quakes.

We should treat all times like the end of times, because each of us will die, and no one knows for sure when that will be.

The worst thing you can do is think that you have plenty of time to become a good person.

the reference of the end times is the last day... nature functions through time and when it refers to the last day it refers to the present day being lived... not the end of days... if you look at the wording the last days was the reference and people interpreted it as the end of days...
