she needs to be careful how she approaches this because at the opposite end of the scale is eating disorders and they are just as bad. not all of us are meant to be a size 2 some of us have curves and that is the way God made us no amount of healthy dieting will change that. I think taxing junk food and soda would be a good step in the right direction but ultimately it is the parents responsibility to make sure the kids are eating correctly and not sitting in front of the tv. you can't really blame video games now so much because wii took the sit on your can option out of their games
