The Gospel has been spread. Everyone has heard of it. Do you need to beat a dead horse? Is there some rule that says you have to keep pounding it down our throats for eternity?

John 17: 17-22
17Sanctify them [purify, consecrate, separate them for Yourself, make them holy] by the Truth; Your Word is Truth.
18Just as You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
19And so for their sake and on their behalf I sanctify (dedicate, consecrate) Myself, that they also may be sanctified (dedicated, consecrated, made holy) in the Truth.
20Neither for these alone do I pray [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching,
21That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me.
22I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one:

Jesus prayed for the unity of believers. Church labels may differ; faith expression vary; biblical interpretation be less than harmonious. But those born of God's Spirit are one in Christ and that oneness we are to recognize.

I know that there are Christians out there, that are peaceful and are having a healthy relation in their worship of their religion. But they are being overrun by the fundementalists, whom are giving even the peaceful Christians a bad image.

As a peaceful (non-fundementalist) Christian - what do you think you can do about the fundementalist and extremist Christians?

Harry Potter's embracement of witchcraft, demonic powers, potions, the Godly number 'seven', and even the fact that he might die and be resurrected, is overwhelming in our bookshops, libraries and classrooms; yet many Christians choose reading it over the Bible. J.K. Rowling’s embracement of homosexuality, tolerance, and lack of morals isn’t right.

I got this from Kristin regarding Dumbledore's gayness--

I DO NOT understand why something so political has to be an issue in a book series for children and adolescents. I would have never thought to infer Dumbledore's homosexuality from the books. Knowing or not knowing is not essential to the story. The fact that Rowling felt it necessary to reveal such a controversial thing after the fact of the books seems like an attempt on her part to stay relevant. It turns something that was wonderfully imaginative and delightful into something jaded.

Look up pictures of "Giant human femur" to see a model of a giant bone someone claims to have found.

So what do you think? Is this a fake claim? Or did giants walk around?

I have only been on yahoo a very short time. As a Christian I am appalled at the things I see some others Christians write. We are not here to judge, or did I miss something? What the heck is wrong with some of your doctrine. When Christ told us to go into all the world it was to spread the good new, all I see is others trying to place fear of hell and God's wrath on others. If the only reason you are saved is because you are scared of hell fire you really need to rethink why you are a Christian. Where is the good new, where is the love for people, have we thrown out what love is?
Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking,
It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves.
Corinthians 13:4-7

Who the heck do we think we are to judge anyone?

I happen to like the body of my friend of whom is of the same gender, and i keep a photo of the person's body on my pc. my friend discovered it and thought i am homosexual.

question is, when you like the body of the person who is of the same gender as you, are you a homosexual? is homosexuality more of loving the person by his/her feelings and emotions or by her/his physical appearance?

Hello, my name is Roxy and I am 13 years old. As soon as I turn 14, I can start volunteering at local shelters and such. But I have a lot of extra clothes and shoes that I don't need anymore. What kind of programs let me donate my clothes to needy familes in my local area. I don't do good will because they just resell it. I want to give mine away. I'm in Texas, if that helps.

I see many Silly Questions about.. " HELL ! "

(Matthew 25:41) Then He also shall say to those on the left hand, Depart from Me, you cursed, into everlasting fire = = = prepared for the Devil and his angels.

HELL.... was prepared for the Devil... and the Fallen Angels!

MAN..... Chooses to "Go to Hell"..... Simply.... By Rejecting GOD'S PAYMENT FOR......" YOUR "....... SIN!

" In your Free Will.... < YOU > .... Reject ... GOD ! "

(Heb 10:29) Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy of punishment, the one who has trampled the Son of God, and who has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

(Heb 10:30) For we know Him who has said, "Vengeance belongs to Me, I will repay, says the Lord." And again, "The Lord shall judge His people."

(Heb 10:31) It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Thanks for Asking! RR

I'm a christian man that made a mistake in the world. Are there other couples or singles out there that are going through the same situation as I am? Are there any support groups? Places to meet people without reaping the feelings of being discriminated against? I take full responsibility for my actions, but i need some advice.
