Okay, lets look this sideways.
A painter paints a picture of a man, his appreciation is of the form, the movement and the look of the body, how it looks, imagining running hands down the body to know and understand the curves and lines, the picture of the man is a greek god, blond hair, tan, (urk, sorry, gone a bit Rocky Horror there!)
Does that make the painter gay?
The same painter then paints a lover for the god, a dark and swarthy woman, her breasts round and firm, to paint. To do this he has studied the form of a neighbour, she has posed for him, naked, he has again run his hands across her body.
Is the painter straight or bi-sexual.
Only he knows, but the reality is that he sees the beauty of the human form, he understands what makes people attractive to one another.
You could be gay, on gthe other hand you may just have recognised that your friend has a very good body, the answer is more how you see it.
How many women recognise beauty in other women, but are not lesbian, all of them?
The reality is if you are sexually attracted to him, then being gay is possible, if you simply see his body as the ultimate in male beauty then maybe not.
A bit flowery I know, but I think you can see what I am saying.

Being able to tell if someone of the same gender is attractive is not the same as being gay. A straight man might say, "That man is attractive" as a way of evaluating his competition for women. However, if he is sexually attracted to the other man, he'd be gay.
Is your attraction to your friend's body aesthetic or physical? Does seeing your friend's naked torso turn you on? These are the questions you should be asking yourself.
Even within an orientation, there are different levels of sexual urges. Some people are attracted to others on a completely physical level, and have one-night stands, etc. Others aren't interested in sex at all, but are emotionally or romantically attracted to others (Thus it is possible for there to be LGB asexuals). Most people are somewhere in between.

Depending on your train of thought on this matter and whether you are a Teen.
I am led to believe that between the ages of 12 - 15 that this may be normal as you are discovering your sexuality. It is said that 90% of the male populations has had some attraction to the same sex.
If you are turned on well then I would throw that book away and tell it straight. You may that Q word.
Said with a politically correct limp wrist. LOL.

homosexuality is not all about physical desire but what is the preference for regular sexual activity or preference of who you choose to love. just cuz you like a guy does not mean you are homosexual. You may just like that guy. Until about 600 years ago, homosexuality was an acceptable way to live--then the christians and other weirdos took over. we are drawn to others because we find something in someone else that can make us more of a person in ourselves.

No - It means you appriciate his body .
You would like to have a body like that your self
If looking and appriciating picture of some one of the same sex is being homosexual then all the men working out in gym and getting incentives from pinups are gay ?

It depends on how you think of that person. If you like their figure, that might just be the person. If you are looking at other people's body than you are homosexual. If that person that you look like have more to offer and you take it that might mean that you're are homosexual. OR like that person said you might be really horny.

no, this is not true, a man can look at a man and think he has a nice body but be straight, to be gay is to have emotional and sexual feelings towards a person of the same sex.

Probably what *you* feel is admiration of how the person looks. Like maybe you would like to look like him. I don't think that makes you homosexual. If you want to have sex with him, *that* would make you homosexual.

Just admiring his body makes you a connoisseur of the human form, not necessarily homosexual. If you want to sleep with him, yes, if you just like to look, probably not.

Not necessarily. I like girls, but I'm no homosexual, I'm bisexual. If you have feelings for people of the opposite sex as well as the same sex, then you are bisexual, otherwise, you may simply have homosexual tendencies.
