I mean, why do non-believers and sinners get better lives than us Christians, especially when it seems they get rewarded for sinning? I'm 16 and I see this a lot, and I don't understand it.

OK - I was reading a question and this thought came to mind... Would an atheist make a good president of the US?

I think no - I am not a fan of these groups that come in and try and take away holidays - whether they are Christian, Muslim, or Jewish holidays. When I was in grade school, we had a Christmas Party. Now, you can't even have a holiday party in school without someone getting offended.

I have no problem with atheists or their beliefs, but I do have a problem with them ruining the fun of being religious and living in a predominantly Christian country. So what if the 10 commandments are in a court house! Just because it is there doesn't mean you have to abide by it. So what if schools have a Christmas party! Enjoy it! Christmas in school is more about Santa then Jesus anyways.

Ok, back from that tangent... So - Yay or Nay for an atheist president and why?

The ones that are not are deemed evil or misguided cults. I will admit that some do strange things but the biggest is the divinity of Jesus and his role in the trinity. Am I understanding this correctly?

So long as you are a trinitarian then you can interface with other sects though you may disagree on certain things.

This is interesting since the trinity doctrine was firmly established by a pagan emperor's decree.

I often wonder there's a lot in common between both peoples in terms of behaviour and communication style. Both seem to be "empathetic" while talking to others. Anybody else feels same way.

is it generally accepted in the American society?

It struck me as odd that you use the terms blacks and whites about people at this site, seeing as it's very unusual where I come from(Norway). It's actually frowned upon here, if not used to make a point. What I'm wondering about is if it's just here, or if you do it otherwise to?
If you do, doesn't that seem a bit rascist?

And since an Atheist does not believe in GOD or Spiritual Afterlife why would he have a Spiritual NDE?
The British philosopher Sir AJ ‘Freddie’ Ayer (1910-89) was a confirmed atheist. When the writer Somerset Maugham, another confirmed atheist, was on his deathbed, he summoned Ayer to reassure him that there was absolutely no likelilood of an afterlife, a service Sir Freddie was happy to provide. He said he had seen a tunnel covered by a great grid, with a red glow at the end, whose light was comforting but painful. He understood that the light was responsible for the government of the universe. After travelling towards the light he met two guardians of the universe, who were the ministers in charge of space, who invited him to help them map out the geometry of space and time-Apart from the aside about his Classical education, Ayer’s views bear a remakable similarity to those expressed by the prophet Ezekiel in the Bible.

...the exact date I was baptized? I know it was a few Sundays before Mother's Day of this year, but I just can't remember exactly which one. I remember the date I was saved, which was January 12, 2007 in the middle of a very emotional night between me and God. I thought I would always remember te day I got baptized, but I don't. See, my baptism was just to show the world that I belonged to God. The day I remember so well is the one that changed my life and the person I am. So, is it horrible that I don't remember or is it okay because the day that is really important is the day God saved me?

That baptism is only an outward sign when we are COMMANDED to be baptized?

John 3
1There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

2The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Thanks for the answers so far, i have more questions.

Does this verse, Gen 49:10 also put a timeline on when Jesus had to be born? Being that the tribe had lost its tribal identity to Rome when in 70 A.D. both their city and their temple were destroyed? Thanks!
