if u ask where did god come from than ask where did the thing that created god that created god come from? u can ask the same questions to evolutionists about the first species. face it whatever started it was eternal no beginning no end. that is the hardest thing to understand and we wont until we die. and the thing that is eternal is either something very powerul intelligent, loving = GOD or particles of dust that formed the universe. id have to go with the GOD part but im agnostic so who knows.

God always has been and always will be. Nothing before Him nothing after Him. Something our secular minds can't understand until heaven. Jesus was born to the virgin Mary because that was the prophesy. FYI lots of women back in the day named their kid Jesus (Yeshua in Latin) because the meaning of the word was "messiah" and everyone wanted to be the mother of Christ... anywho... Mary and Joseph were married but didn't consummate the marriage because they were to stay pure for one year after they were married... just how they did it back then.

This is just a myth, like all the stories in all the bibles or religious texts... just a story.
"God" didn't father Jesus any more than Zeus fathered Hercules, but it makes for nice fiction.
Yeah, so Joseph never "got a little" off his wife???
I don't think so. What's the point of being married then???

Jesus had to be born of a virgin to fulfill the prophesy that he would be born of a virgin. It was a peculiar birth that sets him apart from every other person on earth, and fits with the fact that God in heaven was (and is) his "Father".
God himself needs no creator. All of our natural restrictions - time, space, cause & effect, etc were created by God, so he is not restricted by them. Eternity is a whole other realm with a whole other set of rules.

Our imaginations.
He is a fictional character that people created to plug the holes in our knowledge of the universe. He satisfies certain emotional needs of people who need an answer but can't think of any or don't like the real ones.

Mary was a sly fem... So came out with the story to cover her adulterous way... Can you blame her?... Back then adultery was punished by stoning!
